Clos De La Vaupalière - Rouen

Newly refurbished, spacious rooms, very nice decorations, comfortable and it’s located in a peaceful environment. It’s perfect for relaxation or if you would like to organise such event.

Room was clean, spacious & comfortable.Bathroom was well designed & spaciousBed mattress was comfortable.Breakfast was as as expected.

Biggest complaint is about the restaurant being closed on the single night that we stayed there (11/10/24). As we were travelling from Spain, through France, to the UK, we had long distances to cover and needed a hotel in the Rouen area that was close to motorways, yet quiet, and with dinner provided. We were told only day or 2 before arrival that the restaurant would be closed due to a private function. Your staff did suggest some alternatives but they weren't appropriate and not nearby. WE WOULD NOT HAVE STAYED AT YOUR HOTEL IF WE HAD KNOWN WELL IN ADVANCE THAT DINNER WAS NOT GOING TO BE AVAILABLE!Few tea & coffee options provided in room: just one Verbena tea and 2 Earl Grey Teas. What about regular tea and other herbal tea options, please?

This is our third stay at the hotel and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is relaxed and the food delicious.

Location is very conveniently close to the main road.

Smoking area outside immediately in front of the hotel's entrance requires you to go through smoke when entering.The shower had only lukewarm water, not warm enough for comfortable showering.The layout of the hotel has rooms inside around an atrium (the Patio), but in case of an emergency it seems confusing how to escape the building.

We stopped on our way back home (Bordeaux -UK). Staff was really nice and helpful, the restaurant was amazing and exceeded our expectations! My husband said the burger was just perfect and best he has ever had. Great quality breakfast - highly recommend to book breakfast. The restaurant is amazing!

The bathroom doesn’t have a door - only cloth curtain - it’s difficult to find privacy. Rooms are very small.

The staff were very helpful and cheerful when I arrived very late, then rustled up a late supper of charcuterie and helped me put my ev on charge. They restored for me what had been a fairly stressful afternoon and evening.

The location among industrial yards is a drawback, although easy access to autoroutes

A nice hotel for events and staying overnight just outside of Rouen. A manicured garden, free pool table, table football and video games for children.

Located in a large commercial warehouse area, nothing interesting around.

Location very handy for overnight stop en route south. Very comfy clean room with great bathroom. Good food reasonably priced. It's on a trading estate, but once through the gates, you wouldn't know.

There is nothing to dislike. Apparently, the restaurant isn't open weekends as it's a popular wedding venue

It was perfect in location as a stop over. Only a few hours from Calais. Great parking (we had a van full of expensive fishing tackle). Nice restaurant and we loved the pool table and table football. Rooms were lovely too, great shower.

The room was clean, modern and spacious. Staff were friendly and although it was next to the motorway it didn’t feel like a classic ‘motorway stop’

Only slight criticism would be that the restaurant didn’t offer much in the way of kids food.

a great place for a stopover on our way to the Vendee. the family room was perfect for us - one double bed and three single beds. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room and facilities were clean and even though the hotel is in an unusual setting, it’s good a nice ambiance about it. the restaurant is really nice and has a pool table and some games which kept our children entertained. the menu is rather gourmet and pricey - a children’s menu would be a nice addition.

There is a tiny swimming pool that is not in use! Our children were disappointed by this as the hotel had been advertised as having a swimming pool.

Very nice place. Lovely garden. Our family were welcomed and had a good time. Room was clean. Very friendly and helpful guy at the reception. A short car ride away from Rouen city centre.

Breakfast could be a little more complete. Bread was not refilled. Room was a little hot.

We found out when we arrived that the bar and restaurant was closed. Also the swimming pool was not open.

The room was spacious and the decor very modern. The king size bed was very comfortable too.The breakfast was delicious and plentiful
