    Pros +

    • Quiet location. Breakfast was excellent, staff friendly and very helpful.
    • Location . Value and weather!
    • As a group, we really enjoyed our stay in the Mercure, from the propriety space and landscape to meals, and friendly staff. The conference room is brand new and offer everything we need for a productive meeting.

    Cons -

    • Beds a little small.
    • Poor restaurant service and grumpy restaurant staff
    • We only found difficult to make a group reservation without paying in advance. Our group leaders have a long history of bringing groups to the hotel. Nevertheless, we had to use Booking.com platform to make the booking without deposit. I know that this should be a corporate guidance and has nothing to do with the hotel staff.

The hotel has undergone an excellent renovation since our last visit both in the rooms and in the lounge and dining areas. It’s more comfortable than ever.

Staff very helpful and friendly. Restaurant exceptional. Swimming pool a lovely bonus. Would stay again.

You definitely need a car. Taxis booked did not turn up as you are out if town.

The property is great. Lovely pool and good food and drink too. Staff are really helpful. Pool guy Ian so helpful and it’s the little things like that which make the stay lovely.

It’s hard to find anything. Maybe door from corridor to outside broken but there are plenty of others to use so no issue for us.

peaceful, lovely pool and great bar service. restaurant food was great

    5RafaelPosted on: 9-20-2021

The location and the swimming pool are nice.

It seemed not well taken care of, the mattress was not comfortable and both my wife and myself had back pain in the morning, the restaurant was closed for lunch at 13:45 (so we and our two kids couldn’t have lunch), the light of the bathroom was automatic so if you went for some water at 2am it would make sure to fully wake you up,…

    8JohnPosted on: 9-1-2021

The swimming pool was nice and especially the beds and the pool bar. The rooms were nicely decorated.

Because the road work, the journey to the hotel from Aix takes some 30 mins.

    9SimonPosted on: 9-1-2021

Courtyard breakfasts. Lovely pool. Provence papers each morning. Excellent bathroom. Very spacious. Good location for St Victiore and Aix. Great scenery.

Lack of information brochures. The evening meal menus could be more extensive.

Once we found the hotel … difficult to find .. there is a road closed and it took ages to make a detour… it was a great hotel. Very relaxing atmosphere.

    Finding the hotel.

    9AsliPosted on: 8-9-2021

Had a nice pool and quite atmosphere and our room had also mini private garden to have cup of coffee:)

They didnt let us to check in and did not even try to help us

The environment was quite nice. The hotel is integrated in an old provençale country house. You will find an architectural reasonable compromise between a modern hotel offering a country house feeling. The pool area is on a greenfield. Sun lounger are for free use and can be located under simple wooden sun covers if required. It seems that the hotel does not have much international guests as the preferred language is french. The hotel staff was keen to help out as best as they can to get all queries addressed.

Surprisingly we have noticed roadwork directly on the way to the hotel closing the road in one direction. There was no communication from the hotel that the road was turned into a one-way road even when the hotel called us to confirm the booking on the same day of arrival. The restaurant was compared to the appearance of the hotel a bummer. The headwaiter of the restaurant seemed slightly ungracious and somehow conceited. Furthermore the diner was not balanced in best value for the money. Both factors determined to do not visit the restaurant again and not extending the stay as intended.

    9JamesPosted on: 7-13-2021

Great pool. Very good food. I love the shutters on the windows that make the room black and give you a great night sleep. Good overnight hotel in delightful surroundings. I will definitely be back.

Roadworks outside. It’s not the noise I didn’t hear anything but getting there was a challenge.
