    Pros +

    • They adjusted breakfast on the last day a half hour earlier so we were able to still have breakfast before leaving in the morning. The breakfast was also amazing, as was the overall service and ability to have a private jacuzzi.
    • Excellent place to stay on my motorcycle trip, plenty of parking, lovely breakfast, and restaurant, great staff
    • The location was beautiful. The staff were very helpful.

    Cons -

    • The charger for the electric vehicle was a bit expensive unless you have a completely empty battery. I chose not to use it in the end as I still had enough charge to get me back down to another charger.
    • Traffic noise, especially motor bikes went on till quite late at night.
    • Our room was very small with restricted headroom, ok for one night but not for a longer stay.

This is our second stay here. The hotel is located at the top of a pass in the middle of a forest. There are numerous walking trails from the hotel. It is easy to find and has ample free parking. It is a great base to explore the Vercors. The staff are excellent and speak good English. The rooms are large, comfortable and well appointed. The food in the restaurant is very good and it is quite popular on a Friday evening.

Location is fantastic for a motorcycle trip in the vercors. Rooms are comfy, plenty of parking, very relaxing atmosphere.

Friendly staff and Lovely evening meal.

Quite a basic room, which was very warm but served it's purpose for one night.

The restaurant is open every day of the week. The food is good, there is a varied menu and the staff are friendly. Half-board is available daily at 42 euros. The beds are comfortable and the shower was spacious. There is a lounge and an outside sitting area so that you don't have to stay in your room. Added bonus, I was able to go hiking directly from the hotel.

We had a room on the first floor that faced the road which was quite warm despite keeping the shutters closed. We had to sleep with the windows open which unfortunately meant we got more road noise and the restaurant delivery trucks arriving early in the morning. The only hanging space in the room was the wardrobe. A few hooks would be useful to hang outdoor clothing when you come in, especially as it's not always sunny in the Vercors.

Staff was very nice. We arrived a bit later but they kept open also the kitchen for dinner for us. We got a bit lost as it was raining a lot and I didnt realize that I had to go up the mountain side. Normally, would have been easy to find but I had no internet and no visibility because of the rain. Place was great. My child and husband did a nice walk by the woods. Dinner was very yummy. Breakfast was also great. Room was also nice and clean.

    None I can think of.

    Cheerful staff and comfortable bed.

A bigger, more comfortable lounge please. Would have liked a little more dinner menu choice as we stayed for nearly a week.

Great location with good outside terrace area. Friendly, very welcoming and perfectly efficient reception. Great room. Superb food and good service in the restaurant. Plenty of parking.

    Nothing. Faultless!

well presented, great restaurant, wonderful staff

the road noise made it difficult to have the window open and we live away from roads so a problem to us but not for everyone as it is only occasional cars.no curtain or anything on the bathroom window was a bit odd

Reservation made for the night of 17 March 2023.We called at 6pm to announce our late arrival at 11:30pm. The lady on the phone told us that she would leave the room key at the reception with instructions for check-in. When we arrived, we realised that the door code had not been given to us and that the door was locked. 1 hour waiting for someone to open the door before resigning ourselves to looking for a hotel in Grenoble. In other words, how to waste your weekend...Moreover, we called back the next day to ask for explanations. The person on the phone said that she had no information about this inconvenience, that she would check before calling us back. We are still waiting for this phone call, which I think will not change anything about what we think of this place: a blatant lack of consideration towards the customers. We called booking several times to find a solution. The lady on the phone was not helpful at all. She gave us a cliché speech and told us that she tried to reach the property by phone and even email and that she would call us 15 minutes later because it is the "classic procedure of booking". She surely did not call us back. We called another time. We are not sure if it was the same person but she finally told us that she tried to book another stay for us but there is not any avaibility in the city. Then she just hung up on us. The first hotel that we found on booking was available...

The hostal is located in the middle of the mountain and well renovated

the bed was unconfortable, the walls were so thin we could listen EVERYTHING from the neighbour. The spa (which was the hallmark of the place) wasn’t working casually for the next two weeks and we were not prevented. the personnel provided very little information. the breakfast was overpriced. the wifi was working intermitently.

A very comfortable, recently refurbished hotel with a great restaurant, situated next to a forest on a mountain pass. Great for winter retreats.

Lovely hotel in the forest. Very easy to find with ample parking. The rooms are very clean, spacious, quiet, and well appointed. The staff are excellent and very friendly. Loren speaks very good English and looked after us very well in the restaurant.

beautifully converted hotel extremely comfortable excellent dinner and charming staff!

unfortunately the snow wasn’t good enough for us to snowshoe from the door - although we found somewhere nearby after advice from the staff!
