The location was great as the city was a short walk away. The staff was nice and accommodating. Parking was a bit tough, but managable.

The room was not as I would expect from a 4 or % Star Hotel. I've traveled quite extensively and I was truly disappointed. The room was outdated, looked worn and basic. It was clean but really nothing special at all. I wouldn't stay here again.

Very clean , quiet location , very friendly & helpful staff .

No air conditioning in the room , only a fan . In hot days can be difficult.

We believed we paid for breakfast and when asked we’l were told we had. We were then charged €65 for breakfast which for luke warm, overcooked breakfast was quite alarming! Staff were however very friendly at breakfast. The evening bar staff was very miserable and complained about fetching ice for our drinks!! This is our third stay at this hotel and we expect better for a 5 star hotel but it always fails to deliver sadly. For a little effort, this hotel could me as magic as its location and building.

Great location, very helpful staff in the hotel. We had dinner in the Italian restaurant. Bed was comfortable.

We stayed in old part of the hotel (refugium). The hotel is pricey for what it is. The bed, whilst comfortable, is not a true double but 2 singles put together. Pillows are inadequate in terms of support. Bathroom was fine but the shower is old and not what we would expect, even in the old part of the hotel. The Italian restaurant: good food, but extremely poor service, and lacking a professional host or hostess. Upon arrival, we waited and waited and finally asked staff where to sit. Don't order Espresso Martini: they don't know how to make it.

Excellent breakfast. Friendly staff. I have been there many times and think that it is by far the best place in Celle.

Parking lot was full and the underground parking costs 18 euro for one night which is ridiculous to charge for when you pay 200+ euro for a room.

Super location very near the old town. The breakfast buffer was superior.

Upon arrival we had to change room due to a malfunctioning AC involving several of the lower floors. However, after getting a new room on the top level, we found, that barely no water was comming out of the shower head - probably yet a technical issue... Our total impression of this hotel is, that the 5th. star is a bit exaggerated in comparison to other very nice 4 star hotels we've visited.

It was a nice cozy room in the old top floor with old original details. Their garage parking works great. We could even let the car stay for a few hours after we checked out, so we could explore the city. Friendly staff happy to help. Really beautiful city center with old houses. The hotel location is great.

The room was fairly cheap, and being met by a big noisy dehumifier in the room just gave a bad first impression. I know its there for a reason in this old room but just expected higher room standard, since the hotel is so high ranking. But understand that this room probably is their cheapest one and also why we found it.

Not clean and the sound as well as the breakfast is not worth the value .As five hotel the minimum requirement should be putting bottle of water on daily basis

The garden is magnificent, the staff I friendly. A great experience.

There is some lack of maintenance but give the age of the property that is to be expected.

Quiet, calm pool and spa area for relaxing. Helpful and friendly staff. Nice terrace to sit out in the evening
