Superb view of the lake which is why I chose that hotel. The room was very functional. The staff were warm and inviting.

We didn’t want to go overboard on hotel budgets on our Alpine road trip with a thirsty car and were pleasantly surprised to find this affordable gem of a hotel.Some of the highlights:- The large terrace with stunning views of the lake and mountains - The bar and pool tables- The spacious room with the same spectacular views- The friendly and very relaxed staff- The drive to the hotel?

Gorgeous view of the gorge. Friendly staff. Had free parking.

Needed blackout curtains, as the lights of the attached restaurant outside were on until late (after 11pm). It was a little confusing to find the parking.

The hotel has a wonderful view of the lake, and we were able to enjoy the view from our room. We booked a room for three guests, the room was clean and spacious. It was easy to park the car near the hotel. There is a path from the hotel to the lake.

The walls of the hotel are somewhat thin, so there is some noise coming into the room from outside.

The room had an excellent view of the beach. The beach is accessible and great way to spend time with kids. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The “new” village of Les Salles is very tourist oriented, restaurants are just adequate and high priced.

A lovely one night stay while visiting the Verdon Gorge. The hotel had lovely lake views from our rooms. We enjoyed an awesome breakfast on the terrace. The rooms were a little tired, but very clean and had everything we needed for a night. Easy parking on the property. Would recommend!

The property is in amazing location the viewing is stunning

The value of like that room and service is far too high. Customer service is unfriendly, food os very expensive but not tasy especially entrecôte steak

Exceptionally clean. Parking for our motorcycle in the garage was great. Location to the lake and views around the property. Very good breakfast

No fixed over head shower in the bath

The hotel is in a lovely location near the lake close to the Gorge du Verdon.

We were at the hotel for a triathlon race, but they were booked out on the sat night, our fallback Hotel told us no breakfasts for racers, but auberge said no problem you can come here. Superb service, I had a good race, thanks very much

Definitely choose a room with a view over the lake and preferably with a balcony. It is well worth the extra. The dinner menu is limited, but well prepared and the terrace has a great view. Book a table for dinner as it gets busy.

Slightly more choice on the dinner menu. Some fish would have been nice as it was quite meat orientated.

We stayed for a few days to visit the Gorge du Verdon. The hotel was perfect - from the friendly staff who assisted us in an early check-in, to the delicious (and generous portions) at the restaurant, we had a great stay. The rooms were simple but the beds were comfortable and the town was peaceful which meant a perfect nights rest. We had a delicious breakfast at the dining room which had a huge variety to choose from. The view from the hotel over the lake is stunning and there are a few walks close by as well.

There was only wifi downstairs (not in the rooms) but in a location like this, one should not really be on their phones.

Excellent location, staff very helpful & booked taxis for us. Food was tasty and drinks on the terrace in the evening were superb.

amazing view,friendly staffrooms are a good size absolutely love the place , also an excellent quality breakfast with great food at night in the restaurant. our second visit and many more to come

the only fault for us is that the shower needs to be higher on the wall
