Pros +
- The staff was friendly. The rooms were adequate and clean. The double room was a bit tight, but comfortable . The pool was wonderful as was the dining patio. The dinner was exceptional!
- The staff of the hotel were friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to help resolve a mistake we had made with our reservation. We appreciated that the hotel had parking since parking is very hard to find in Moustiers. The hotel is located at the edge of the village a short walk to all the action. The hotel also had an excellent on-site restaurant where we ate both breakfast and dinner. The dinner was excellent and good value for money.
- Traditional hotel in a good location. Quiet for being close to town centre. Comfortable room, new bathroom. Very easy check in. Free on site parking.
Cons -
- The room was a bit tight.
- The room itself was fairly basic and plain. We were in the largest size room and it was adequate for two people.
- Somewhat overbearing smell from the cleaning fluids in the bedroom. Swimming pool needed maintenance, some deck chairs needed replacing.

Location, cleanliness, very good breakfast
Excellent restaurant, food was amazing
Room was ok but the deco was a bit old looking
Pool was perfect after a day in the sun. Beautiful view!
Common areas were not the cleanest
The hotel also had an excellent restaurant on site. The staff was wonderful and very helpful. It was in the perfect location for touring Moustier Sante Marie. When we return, we will definitely use this hotel.
Ideally placed on the St Malo to Nice bike ride, with safe cycle storage in the hotel garage. We arrived early and were given an early check in. Staff very friendly and helpful
The hotel garage didn't open until 7.45 which stops getting a very early start .
Nice hotel with a nice pool and room. Good to heve parking place for the car.
The hotel staff offered us a reserved parking spot in the back for just an extra 10 Euros. This is hard to town to park in. They also have a beautiful pool. Well located near downtown.
Breakfast items were a bit limited.
Beautiful property fully renovated. The photos don’t do it justice as they are old. The hotel should really update the photos.
When we arrived our garage parking spot was given away even though we contacted the property three weeks ahead of time. However there was plenty of free parking around that we ended up not needing it at all.
I was not so sure about this place when we parked in the back by our rooms. We stayed in the low rise building around the back. But once I went inside, I was blown away by the niceness of the room, the comfort of the beds and pillows, and the coldness of the air conditioning! Best night of sleep we had during our two week vacation in the south of France. I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to be within walking distance to all of the restaurants and shops of Moustiers-Sainte-Marie. As mentioned, we did have a car and there was room for parking on site. We did not try the pool, but it looked beautiful. Thanks for a great stay!
The hotel was in an excellent location on the edge of the town center and no more than a 10 minute walk from everything. There was onsite parking and you could reach the hotel without having to pass through the town center. The town/village has everything you could want and is in an excellent location for exploring the Verdon Gorge region.
Hotel is nice, well located and the staff was friendly
parking difficult for large carRoom is basic and has no fridge
This is a very well located accommodation just a stroll to all attractions. The free onsite parking was convenient and secure. The host is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We opted to dine at the onsite restaurant and found the quality of the food exceptional.
It is close to the center of the amazing village. The hotel is OK
maybe the price and the parking is not at the property but closeby( 25EUR per day paid parking).
Very good and pretty for Easter.
Room 305 needs some serious work. There is no shower curtain, and it is right next to the sink where toiletries are stored. The air conditioner stopped working at night, right when we needed it to sleep. Others in our group may not have experienced this.
Breakfast was very nice with good variety. Enough even for a dairy avoiding vegetarian. Dinner at the hotel was lovely, and the dining room is charming. Room size was good considering our budget for hotels and always choosing the least expensive. Bathroom was nice. Windows opened which was great. Good closet space and heater. Room was in the back so it was quiet. There was a lift - great for bringing luggage up and down. The owner and his son were on site and very welcoming and friendly, and the son spoke English, which helped us -monolingual Californians. Our visit was in March 2025, so we still had free parking available right across the street - very convenient. I believe parking begins to be charged for in April. Hotel is well situated for walking into town, to the hiking trails, and to drive beyond to Gorge du Verdon, and to do our laundry 14 miles away in Riez outside the Intermarche. A short drive for a rural Californian. Other hill towns were barely opening up but we found an excellent small restaurant in Aiguines - delicious home.
It was cold while we visited, so we had to keep the heat turned up. Wood floors, which are good for people with allergies and for cleaning, make the room seem colder. I prefer carpeted floors because they are cozier in cooler weather, and I prefer to sit on the floor when there isn't a relaxing chair in the room because sitting on the bed hurts my back. I understand the use of press button coffee machines in the breakfast area - they save time (and free up personnel). All of the hotels have them now. If you are used to espresso or strong coffee, just go for the double espresso setting.
Staff excellent, warm supportive and multi lingual.... Great hotel, stunning location fabulous staff especially Christoph and his father... Ate in their resteraunt food was great and a lovely choice......Would I return,..?? oh yes...Beautiful village and excellent to explore
Didn't stay longer..
An old tired hotel with minimal comforts, but one of the few hotels open in March. Even every breakfast bowl is chipped, breakfast pastries disappointing. It is in need of a major upgrade.Friendly family management team.
