Grüne Au Hotel

The room was very spacious as the owner kindly upgraded me to a double free of charge. It was spotlessly clean and had everything I needed. The decor is pretty retro which I liked, and the staff were nice and friendly. Ample parking for touring guests.

A bedside lamp would have been nice, and I did feel like there weren't any staff if I needed help, but it was fine for 1 night.

The hotel is at a good location and the room was sufficiently equipped for our stay.

There was no breakfast available even if it was mentioned on the website for a fee. The hotel has seen better days.

Lights of parking lots turned off at night. No staff, no reception to contact. Keys are in boxes outside the building. You get an email telling you in which box your keys are. Hotel has a German sounding name but is ran by Indian or Pakistani? People. Rooms have a strange perfume smell.. probably something Asian? No towels in the bathroom, no shampoo etc.

We came late but our room were open. It was nice. We had a good breakfast in the morning. If we will be in that town we would come again.

,This should not be displayed as a hotel its a refuge or hostel at best,no staff on arrival at 20-30 so could get no information on where we could get something to eat and drink, bare bulb light with exposed wiring in room and dirty curtain and windows,when i contacted the manager and asked to cancel i was shouted at on the phone,told you people have no respect and i would not be getting any refund and i should just go find and pay for another hotel, i travel regularly throughout europe and more often than not use bookings for last minute hotels, in memory this is the worst accommodation i have found through the app,and is the first i have ever given a bad rating and price wise around what i usually pay so not expensive but not cbeap,if i could have lowered my scores i would,,TRAVELLERS BEWARE

Overall very dissatisfied and uncomfortable with the hotel and staff

- literally no staff there and no information on what to do when you arrive. we waited outside confused for awhile and then called just to be told that the key was in the door and room was unlocked (like we were supposed to know that before)- smells weird. like musty and mildew- mattresses were just not good, but whatever- there was a towel on the bathroom floor that was extremely crunchy- on our checkout day a lady literally unlocked our door and burst in without knocking while we were asleep (around 8:30am) when we were told we had to be out by 11 (i assume it was a staff member, hopefully)- again no info on what to do to checkout. ended up just leaving the key in the room and left- also don’t expect much from this location it’s a very small town but that’s not the hotel’s fault

Apartment was fantastic and very roomy.

No coffee maker and RESTAURANT was closed.
