Grand Hotel Lamezia

Excellent location across the street from the train station. The facilities are basic, but it's a reliable hotel with a very nice staff and has suited my needs on several occasions. The hotel also has a baggage hold.

I didn't care for the music piped into the hallways. It's unnecessary and you can hear it in the rooms, as well.

Location was decent.

Check-in was pleasant. Check out wasn't so pleasant. The room was extremely hot, very uncomfortable and never cooled down.

"BEWARE "Fake Shuttle .30 euro for 4-min ride taxi

I booked this hotel for €90/night, mainly because it advertised an airport shuttle. My flight arrived at 1:15 AM, and I reserved the shuttle in advance, trusting the hotel to handle late‑night arrivals professionally.However, my experience was very disappointing:No price was ever given. I assumed it was a hotel shuttle (complimentary or reasonably priced), but it turned out to be just a regular taxi at an inflated price.Upon arrival, the hotel gave me a phone number to call. I thought it was the shuttle driver, but it was a taxi dispatcher. I waited over 30 minutes at 1:30 AM outside, even though there were plenty of regular taxis at the airport for €15‑20.At check‑out, I was charged €30 for a 5‑minute ride. Only after I insisted for a receipt and asked to speak with a manager (who was unavailable) did the receptionist reduce the charge to €20, saying she was “doing me a favor.”The receipt was given reluctantly, and the entire experience felt misleading and unprofessional.A “hotel shuttle” should be either free or clearly priced in advance, not a surprise taxi at double the normal fare.Future guests should be aware that this is not a real shuttle service, just an overpriced taxi, and communication from the hotel is poor.

Late night Check-In worked. We were welcomed at late night as we asked for due to late plain landing time.

I liked the location

The room wasn’t very clean, there were contact lenses in the bathroom, and the A/C did not work. Needs to be renovated

This hotel had a very good location — close to both the airport and the train station. It’s a great choice for travelers who want to visit other cities during their stay in Italy.The hotel itself is a bit old, but it offers a variety of rooms. Two of the rooms we were offered had windows facing the hotel’s inner patio, which felt a bit gloomy and uninviting. However, the hotel staff were incredibly kind and helpful. Without any hesitation or resistance, they respected our request and changed our room.Breakfast was good, and the breakfast staff were very warm and friendly, which made the mornings even more pleasant.

In a time when prices keep jumping higher and higher, It's good to know that you can still find accommodations at a reasonable price. And a bonus – the staff is very nice.

I'm not crazy about the music in the hallway and at breakfast.

It was a rip off of charging us full price for 2 rooms that weren’t used because we had an emergency

We were charged full amount even though we had an emergency and had to leave after2 hours of check-in and hadn’t even used the rooms. Restaurant wasn’t fit to eat in.

Very convenient location. The room was somewhat outdated but was comfortable enough. The breakfast was just average.

Needs a good interior designer to sort it out - feels quite bleak and institutional although plenty of space

It was right across from the train station. A nice restaurant with great service right next to the hotel. Staff was pleasant and place was clean

We were a group of Five women from Toronto and the staff went above and beyond to Mae sure we were all satisfied. Elenya at the front desk was always there for all our questions and asks. Always willing and always smiling. Great service overall.

Location was very convenient as it was right in front of Lamezia Terme Centrale train station. The room was spacious and was clean.

We didn’t like the restaurant as it never had any meals available which were in the online menu. Also the breakfast buffet was terrible. Omelets and sausages were cold and the cakes were so hard and tasted very bad. Only the coffees were decent.

Location was excellent across from train station, room and bathroom was clean. Adjoining rooms with common entry for our children. Reception organised local taxi for us before 4am as there were none at station at that hour. Trip to airport

The room I had was renovated and very comfy! Big room and bathroomAppreciated the fridge and the kettle.

Restaurant:Breakfast was sub standard,scrambled eggs and sausages cold, only canned fruit.Dinner was horrible...Would have rated the hotel as excellent if not for the restaurant and the expensive Hotel parking.
