    Pros +

    • Large roomGood breakfast Very nice stuff
    • Beautiful grounds , close to shops and restaurants
    • Very nice grounds and amenities. We were in room 804 and there is a very distinct sewer smell in the bathroom. There was only one paper cup in the room for two people. Although breakfast was included there was very little variety from day to day.

    Cons -

    • Older roomsOld bathrooms
    • Shuttle bus although handy was poorly maintained with broken seats
    • The van ride to Taormina although inexpensive was horrible. The van was dirty, the seats could not even sit upright you are basically laying on the person behind you. No working seatbelts. Very dangerous. If this is an outside contractor providing this service fire them immediately before there is an accident On the positive side the bus was reasonably priced and ran on time.

    Beach location

Aging infrastructure, substandard villa rooms, best suited for low budget/all inclusive/group travelers. Not recommended for individual. One room was marked as superior, but without window and bad smell. After changing rooms, some improvement.

The beach is nice and well maintained. Ample parking and friendly front desk staff. Also has a dive shop on site which was very convenient

If you want to eat elsewhere it may be a bit of a walk for some, so be sure you’re comfortable with that - as pricing it you’re not on a meal plan is quite exorbitant compared to elsewhere.

    Beach

The breakfast that was included with our room was not fresh, cold eggs every single morning. We had an issue with our shower overflowing and let reception know. They sent somebody up immediately, but the issue was not fixed and remained the same the entire stay. You had to turn the water on and off during the shower in order to keep it from overflowing. They provided entertainment most every night. The problem is it started at 9 PM and was very loud. The rooms are not soundproof, so there was no quiet time until after 11.

It was beautiful lush gardens walking trails . There was the pools, the beach, many restaurants to choose from , the convenience of being near a small town to walk to, and also the ability to get to Taormina within 30 minutes.

There was not too much negative, but then I am also the type that could use a few extra towels & instant coffee. But if you ask, they brought it up to your room. other than that everything was perfect.

The hotel is absolutely incredible! Everything was perfect from start to finish. The staff are extremely kind and attentive, always making sure we had everything we needed. The facilities are excellent and really allowed us to relax and fully enjoy our stay. The live music every night created such a wonderful atmosphere, and the food at the restaurants was delicious. I honestly have nothing negative to say about this place, only the opposite. It was the perfect way to spend my holidays, and I can’t wait to come back with more of my family.

    Location, pools, food

Bit on the expensive side for what it is

    8KellyPosted on: 8-14-2025

Wonderful resort for families. The staff are as attentive as possible, although July was a busy time and they seemed a bit overwhelmed. Overall I had a lovely stay and would return!

Without a car or bike it is a little far to walk to the lungomare of Giardini Naxos.

Imagine going to a wedding that never ends, located on a beautiful beach with ckear water and Etna in the backdrop. A great buffet of classic italian dishes with different fresh fish and meats every night.

Just don't judge the place by their smaller old elevators, everything else is excellent

Bad sewer oder in the room

Very nice, big hotel, lots of place, few dining rooms and two swimming pools.large rooms that were partly renovated with a good ac

The hotel is quite old, parts of it were renovated but the pools are in need for a renovation as well as the lobby area. No ac in the dining room we were directed to, and NO AC IN THE GYM!!!

Rooms were clean, convenient for the beach, restaurant was great quality.

It's basically a place for groups/weddings/family with kids etc.Me,coming from past experiences with UNA group in Catania and Taormina (Capo Taormina) I was expecting something more aligned with the group itself but instead I found lower level of hospitality once again catered at group charters of north europeans etc....The level of the services also definitely didn't meet my expectations,at the end I booked another hotel.

Buffet had many highlights for staples in local cuisine. Very flavorful pastas.

Cleanliness in public/common area restrooms could be better.

    8FrancisPosted on: 6-1-2025

Quiet, comfortable rooms, good food (esp. Casa del Massaro), very nice beach, excellent gym, great concierge services, esp. Desiree.

Surrounding town area is rundown with few good restaurants. AC unit in our room was difficult to adjust.

The garden, the location and the room with sea view offered after long insistence

Staff that you can't rely on, initially I requested a quiet room and changed it twice considering that the request was not fulfilled! My night was ruined when I didn't rest at all, and in the morning I insisted...I think at least 4 times to complain about the noisy room and the staff at that time didn't take action. Finally, I asked to go to the reception and have my room changed.....otherwise I'm leaving the hotel for good. In the evening when I returned from Taormina I was offered a good room which I was very happy with, but I had to go through that bad situation to understand the situation, besides the fact that they weren't spontaneous!!! The breakfast is very poor, it's repeated and I notice that many customers have complained but no action is taken to change anything. The customer is not taken into account and their requests are not respected. And yet I wanted to come back after 3 weeks and honor them with my presence and be grateful for offering me a room after all the initial torment I endured....but my request was not taken into account at all, simply...I asked for this 7 days before to allocate me a quiet room or the one I just had and they came up with all kinds of excuses, which is why I turned to another hotel nearby, which I was extremely extremely pleased and grateful for offering me from the beginning what they promised and not this hotel with rigid staff and rules that do not determine that the client will return! Unprofessional, I do not recommend if you want to have a quiet vacation and without unpleasant surprises!

The grounds were beautiful, and the kids club was at extreme highlight. Can't say enough good things about the kids club staff.

The property was very dated. And because of that hard to keep clean. I don't think it lives up to the four star rating.

Kids club! My daughter loved it and I got to spend time at the gym! The pool (although extra freezing) tennis/padel, was great. The pizzeria is good, it should also open at lunch.

Didnt love the food and options at the buffet for lunch and dinner, specially considering its at a moderately high fixed price of 30€ adult and 12€ kids. The beach is rocky and end of April they didnt have any chairs or lounges.

    8OlenaPosted on: 4-24-2025

Location, resort overall, breakfast nice but would benefit from more choices.

We were in April, and I appreciate it’s not a season yet, but would be nice to know you can’t use beach access even for a walk. Pictures of rooms in villas are much better than it is.
