Pros +
- We booked at the last minute, and we had a lovely room with a huge balcony patio shared and divided with another room. There was an amazing amount of storage, both drawers and hanging space for two people. We had a bathtub too. The shower pressure was very good as was the hot water. We stayed here as some friends were staying here. The food was OK for a couple of days. It is run by a chain, and so there is a certain standard that is very acceptable to travelers from USA.The location is good, and it is an easy busy ride to Taormina.
- It’s comfortable, nice balconies. Shops in the walking distance. Lots of parking places.
- It had everything we needed. Plus, the added breakfast was very good for the value
Cons -
- Everything was fine for the star grade. A lot of tours and groups come here and I think a lot of the waiters are tired in October after a busy summer.
- Not so much to do around.
- Instead of writing a bad note, I want to highlight Tomas attitude at the reception: after explaining to him that I had an issue with the drainage in the shower, he quickly offered another room. Great customer service! Finally, I wanted to mention that the quality of the food at the buffet is not on par with the rest of the service. Maybe that could be improved, because it pushes guests to go to other restaurants in the area. If the food was greater, we wouldn’t have doubted to eat there every time.

Room was spacious
Elevator was tiny. The hotel was out of date. This was not a 4 star hotel. I think is was 3 star.
The rooms were very nice and comfortable. The staff were professional and helpful. Loved the pool.
Everything was good.
CleanlinessGood ice creamGood bus service to beachLovely beach
False advertising - facilities advertised on their own website do not exist. No table tennis, mini golf, mini basketball, sega gaming room etc
Altogether a wonderful resort type hotel. It's a bit old building but it didn't matter a lot. Pools are great, complementary beach bus is convenient. Special cheers for the entertainment team for their engagement with the guests.
The breakfast can be worked around.
Hotel is very good. Kids animators were amazing. You need car or bus.
Better breakfast
Clean. Shuttle to downtown Giardini Naxos. Swimming pool big and clean
Our room was overlooking the hotel garbage area! Staff was not very friendly and helpful (except for the restaurant staff which were quite friendly). Breakfast buffet food not especially tasty but lots of selection.
The buffet
Ac not working, and we went to reception and they told us yes we know that is not working but no one advise us before
The pool and location are great
It was a little tired and in need of other dining options
Overall this was good value compared to other hotels I looked at when booking. When we got a sickness bug the hotel staff were quick to come first thing in the morning to clean up and replace towels and a mattress. The parking was great for us as we hired a car. The shuttle bus down to the beach was good although we only used this once as we were unlucky with weather on our trip, a sickness bug and had other trips planned. We had a great sized quadruple family room with lovely balcony overlooking the pool. Dinner was €25 per adult and 2 children were calculated as 1 adult. We had breakfast included. There is a little play area that is a little dilapidated in places with a good climbing frame/slide/swing but aimed at younger children (under7). There is a good supermarket nextdoor to the property and a local restaurants if you want to walk but not as far as Naxos for a change of dinner options. There was one pool table for €10/hour.
We have a severe nut allergy in our group. The restaurant manager was good to help show dinner options to avoid but breakfast wasn’t as good although they seem to cater for gluten free. In the evening there was a huge bowl of peanuts for everyone to use and the manager couldn’t see a problem with this even though on other evenings they had wrapped breadsticks which were obviously more allergy friendly. He just said ‘there are lots of people here just don’t let your son eat them’. But crisps would have been a much better option and surely just as cheap. Also just wish the pools were heated, but this seems to be the case for hotels all over the world. Just too cold to use. There was hardly anyone in the water at any time. We took wet suits for our kids to use but they still couldn’t stay in the water for more than 15 mins. The food in the restaurant was ok, always luke warm but there was a microwave. The salads were lovely. The wine and beer served with the buffet were terrible. Always found a good choice of food. There are local restaurants that were good but you probably end up paying as much as the buffet and for ease, the buffet was good. The hotel is a 25 min walk from the beach. The beds were not comfortable unfortunately. They use weird sheets instead of towels in the bathroom but also give you normal towels. Pool towels are hired with a €10 deposit
The Buffet Breakfast was exceptional!!The staff was EXCELLENT!Always smiling, helpful, and pleasant! The buffet was always fresh, well syocked and wonderful! The rooms were constantly maintained and cleaned.I appreciate all the staff that worked so hard to make our stsy so lovely.
What i was disappointed in was the control of children that were staying on the property during soccer finals. The kids from different soccer teams were running through the halls. Yelling, reeking havoc until 11:00 pm.Knocking on doors and not being respectful to paying guests... ( 2 nights!!!!!)I feel the front desk personnel needed to establish rules with the Chapones and Teachers BEFORE the children arrived..It was very unpleasant during the weekend. The Front desk did everything they could to stop this problem but it didnt work for at least 2 days.It was very disturbing.Thank you
Nice easy underground parking, great value for money, room was okay.
Some fruit with breakfast and the hotel is a bit dated.
We loved EVERYTHING! We are frequent travelers and stayed in many hotels so we can genuinely say with confidence that this is the best hotel we ever stayed in! The room was comfortable, the bed was perfect, the facilities great and a location to fall in love with. Not even to mention the food…. DELICIOUS!
That they are closed for the winter season, we can understand but from a business perspective, we would have stayed open and advertised in the colder countries to come and spend the winter in Giardini Naxos. We certainly would have liked to come back and stay during the winter months ?
Staff was nice and friendly, to those who we spoke to spoke good english. We had breakfast included - there was pleanty of choice, but the coffee was rubbish really.
The bed was really uncomfortable and the room decoration is very outdates. The cleanliness of the room wasn't the best either, but it was OK.
Nice garden and plants infront of the hotel.
Room was not clean, dinning room was dirty, breakfast was not good and food hygine is very questionable. There were groups with young children in the hotel and they were shouting almost till midnight...
Large garden with swimming pool and deckchairs, the joy of the child. Very varied breakfast, including pies that seemed home made
Good location with nice pool and decent breakfast.
very beautiful hotel complex. good variety of breakfast. Dated interior but amazing pool.
Shower design was not well thought out.
