Hotel Sabbie d'Oro

A nice, clean hotel with fast free WiFi and good looking interior. Good breakfast with lots of options, good location near the beach with lots of restaurants around. Close to the local bus station. Amazing view from the breakfast room, and we could see the sea (partly) from our balcony even though we booked a regular room, not the one "with sea view".

The hotel private beach is more expensive than the city private beach nearby. Restaurant next door that belongs to the same owner doesn't have any drink options except wine. Most of the staff doesn't speak English.Almost every night you could hear very loud TV from another room or building nearby, and music from the bars around, but it's not the hotel's fault.

Staff was extremely helpful in helping us with a room, as well as with suggestions for visits and excursions.Location is great, right on the beach and hotel has its own 4-5 parking spots in front, which might not be enough for all the guests, but it worked for us.The breakfast was outstanding, absolutely way better than in majority of Italian hotels.

No good smell ín the bathroom

Spacious double room with view of the bay and Taormina. Friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast buffet with lots of choices, including scrambled eggs and meat. Market and many restaurants nearby. Hop on/Hop off bus stop nearby.

Can’t think of a thing!

Very clean. Tasty breakfast intensified by a beautiful scenery of the mountains ascending from the seashore with pleasant musical background. Helpful staff and greetings to signora Alice

The breakfasts were very nice! Especially I like bruschetta and vegetables ?

Too noisy due to the central location. Condition system and water supply in bathroom needs to be renovated.

Hotel was very clean and our room was spacious, we paid extra for a balcony which was worth it. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.

Only negative thing i can say is that by night the street is quite lively and xan be quite noisy, but not a problem for us really

Breakfast was OK. Location Good. Across the road from the beach. Not too far from Taormina bus.A really good hotel for a base to visit Taormina, and other places in the area.First class staff. Very pleasant and helpful.

We didn't have a good view, looking out on fire escape etc.When I booked on Booking .com it did not give an option for a sea view.Beach access was not expensive at E15, but maybe should be free for guests of the hotel.

The Hotel Sabbie D'Oro was a last minute booking for us and we found the place to be very nice---the staff was very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was excellent and the room was very clean. The bed was comfortable and the room was a good size. A couple of small issues---a very outdated hairdryer that I couldn't quite figure out how to use and not enough electrical outlets to charge everything (even with multi-port adapters). Location is awesome and bonus---onsite parking is available for a small fee. Overall, it's a wonderful hotel

Conditioner doesn’t work well

Perfect location directly next to the beach! We could park our car directly in front of the hotel. Our room had a balcony, was quiet and really convenient. The hotel offers a great cost-price ratio!In the evening we took the public bus to Taormina (bus station is not far) and during the day we enjoyed the really nice beach. Everything is walking distance (restaurants, bars, shops,...), so this is a perfect location for a beach holiday.

Close to the beach, clean rooms. The man working in the breakfast was very nice. Nice food at the beach bar.

Very noisy, both from the inside and the outside! Felt we were in a dance-club until 2-3 every night, then the cleaning staff started to talk and work outside the room from 7 in the morning. So no good sleep even with earplugs. The man in the front desk explained that “this ia the disco area so you can’t come here to relax”. Booking.com should for sure adjust the text for this hotel. In the text on Booking.com it said that there was a private beach, but that we had to pay 25€ for every day no one told us... And then we could not choose beds ourselves. Beds were old an uncomfortable, and air conditioning were noisy and not working very well. Still wondering how this hotel could be. 4****If I pay a lot of goodwill i might accept a low 3.

Good location, clean rooms.

The AC in the rooms are not cooling enough and very noisy at the same time and after we asked about it, they said it’s usually working like that. It’s not that comfortable to stay in a room without AC when outside is 40 degrees. A bit noisy at night because in front is the disco club.

Impossibile dormire causa discoteche a 1 metro dall’hotel.

The room was nice and quiet. The breakfast was very good.
