Nice property, clean and quiet. Nice breakfast.
Very small shower room.
They provided soya milk as I am allergic to dairy. There was fresh fruit and cereal that I could eat at breakfast. The water used for making tea was boiling, so the tea was great. Friendly, helpful staff.
Our shower room, which had an additional facilitily of a spa was not clean, orange stains and mould in the corners and by the folding door.
The hotel is in a beautiful location and is a gorgeous restored villa. Beautiful views of the sea and very clean rooms.
We were travelling as a family group and found out when we arrive that 3 of our 5 rooms were unavailable due to “water damage”. Our family were accommodated nearby for half our stay (of a week) then moved back. It was surprising they were not able to be in the main hotel, as there were many other people coming and going the whole week. We felt that more efforts could have been made to keep our family together and this was disappointing. As I was checking out and leaving the hotel, one of the staff members accused me of stealing the hairdryer from my room. In fact another staff member had the hairdryer and brought it back right away. I was extremely upset
Great staff, location and general value for money. Gabriella was super kind and friendly! And the breakfast was good.
Don’t expect anything too fancy, it’s quite old and worn out, still though- totally worth it for the money compared to other locations.
An interesting villa that has a great view and is somewhat of a museum because, aside from the rooms, you can wander around and check various objects from the history of the town as well as the villa. It has a nice garden and a great terrace and a roof overlooking the sea - perfect picture taking moment. Air conditioning was pretty good and the frigde as well. The parking spots are outside in front of the villa.
The breakfast is pretty basic, although the staff is polite. There is no vegetables or salads, and other things are basic. It is enough for a basic meal, but nothing more. The internet was also pretty bad, it was more not working then it was working. The rooms are a bit old and outdated, so they are a bit smelly, and the bathroom is old as well.
Everything about Villa Raffaella was just wonderful. The staff were incredible, helped us with any questions about the town we had and gave us great advice on things we would have missed if not shared (including a baptismal chamber in a cave that one swims too, and the best pizza's we have ever had). The place itself was magical and the breakfast was paradise. We had so much fun in this town as well, truly special.
Breakfast was generous and good. Reception staff were super friendly and really lovely. The guest lounge and balcony with water views was an unexpected bonus - lovely spot to sit and relax / read outside our room but not have to go out in the heat. Also it was great that we had access to an external courtyard with drying area and a little table and chairs to eat a light dinner. It made our stay very comfortable - plus the always-smiling reception ladies who we passed many times
The staff serving breakfast were not particularly friendly or helpful. We had to ask twice for our coffee and a guest who arrived later received their coffee earlier. This was the only downside to an otherwise very comfortable stay. It was a shame because we ate breakfast just before leaving - so it was our final interaction at the hotel
Perfect location and Gabriella was a warm and friendly host.
Aircon in our room was faulty but this wasn’t anyone’s fault
Beautiful villa, conveniently located with large rooms.
Room was big and clean. Staff was helpful and nice. Santa Cesarea Terme is a small "town", but the place is still very well located. The villa itself is amazing! Breakfast was rich too.
Nothing really.
Our stay at this unique hotel, nestled in a historical villa in Santa Cesarea Terme, was truly unforgettable, and we wholeheartedly recommend it to fellow travelers. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a super warm welcome from the staff, who were not only nice but also incredibly helpful throughout our stay.We were fortunate to stay in a room with a balcony offering breathtaking sea views, creating a serene and relaxing atmosphere. Waking up to the sight of the sea each morning was a highlight of our trip. The breakfast served at the villa was excellent, with a variety of delicious options to choose from, ensuring a great start to our days of exploration. One of the added bonuses was the free parking available just in front of the villa, making it convenient for us to explore the surrounding areas at our own pace.We highly recommend both the villa and the town of Santa Cesarea Terme itself. The town is not only interesting but also picturesque, offering a blend of history, culture, and natural beauty that captivated us throughout our stay.In summary, if you're looking for a charming and unique experience in Puglia, this historical villa in Santa Cesarea Terme is the perfect choice. We can't wait to return and relive the magic of this beautiful destination.
Gabriella made our stay fantastic. She is a great host and super helpful. She treated us like family and went above and beyond to help us out in every way. The hotel is in a great location and very pretty with beautiful views of the water. Great breakfast selection too. We will definitely be back when in the area. Grazie Gabriella di tutto. Sei una persona fantastica!
Beautiful building old well kept building with room overlooking the garden and the sea.The view from the upstair salon and balcony was magic.Close to swimming spots and restaurant.Great breakfast.Excellent spot.
Incredible location with sea views from the balcony. The staff were so warm and welcoming. Spacious and clean bedroom. I would definitely visit again and recomend to friends. Felt like a princess staying here.
Our stay at Villa Rafaela was pleasant and spacious, but a little out of place in terms of decoration. The staff were very friendly and the location meant that all the surrounding activities were within easy reach.
