    Pros +

    • We loved the breakfast and views. The location was great for a relaxing getaway but a little difficult for exploring the rest of the island. The staff was very accommodating, especially when we arrived late and they saved us a table for dinner.
    • Superb staff and location!
    • This is a very property the swimming below is amazing. You can swim from your hotel to mineral pools at the Aphrodite, the staff are incredible and extremely friendly. The food is wonderful in the town of Saint Angelo is very healing and spiritual here how they recommend staying here.

    Cons -

    • Dinner was good butter we expected a little better.
    • Ideally the gym and spa Facilities from the sister hotel would be mirrored at the hotel - it would beGreat to have these facilities directly at the Miramare
    • We booked an upgraded room expecting more space, a real balcony, and a pleasant view, but our experience didn’t align with these expectations:1. Cramped LayoutThe room was small and had a pillar in the center, making it difficult for two people with luggage to move around comfortably.2. Limited Balcony and ViewThe “balcony” was more of a narrow gap between two buildings, offering barely any view or airflow from the room itself. To see the sky or sea, we had to lean all the way to the edge, as walls on both sides blocked our view.3. Poor VentilationWith the room boxed in between buildings, there was little ventilation, causing it to be hot in direct sunlight and stuffy otherwise. To be honest, it was particularly disappointing and weird to see that the management assigned us this room, first of all because we had booked an upper quality room, and second because we were there with family who had one of the suites and had been clients also the year before, so we were expecting some sort of more client-fit treatment.

Everything was exceptional about our stay at Miramare - from the friendliness of the staff, the tastiness of the food, the cleanliness of the rooms and all the amenities... The destination is a bit tricky to get to but honestly worth all the trouble for that location and the experience.

The place is just beautiful. The architecture, the location, and just really the design of the hotel is amazing.

We booked an upgraded room expecting more space, a real balcony, and a pleasant view, but our experience didn’t align with these expectations:1. Cramped LayoutThe room was small and had a pillar in the center, making it difficult for two people with luggage to move around comfortably.2. A very charming hotel overlooking the sea in St Angelo, a small harbour town on the south of Ischia. We had room 150 with the bed facing the view! Everything was clean, very comfortable, and the breakfast selection was extensive. Sitting on the terrace overlooking the bay in the sunshine in the morning was a treat. The thermals pools and sunbeds at the Aphrodite pool complex were very relaxing, as were the views again! There are many restaurants nearby.

The hotel is about a 45 min drive from the ferry terminal so you need to think about transport (we hired a car) and parking (20€ per night) to get there. To get to the pool complex, you need to take a shuttle from the hotel or walk 300m or so up and down along a narrow lane.

Stunning views, perfect location, quiet, access to thermic spa

Some of staff rigid and slowCliff/beach area not maintained

Breakfast was excellent, location is as described

Room housekeeping is one of the worst we've ever encountered 1. Dirty water glass from previous guest 2. Toilet rolls not replenished 3. Coffee pods not replenished 4. No coffee pods for machine, had to go and them ourselves twice 4. Only one bath robe 5. Only one bath towel We did have to check with each other that this was a 5* hotel, we are aware they have some staffing issues but we're still paying 5* money here, it wasn't the best

Fantastic staff, in the restaurant and on reception. Food excellent. Fabulous location and spa very good. End of season but everyone still managing a smile- great holiday, thank you!

Room was missing a few basics but easily rectified. Ate too much!

Rude management, we were ripped off , paid a fortune for a Juior Suite, were forced to take their family room instead, n

The room was gorgeous, the view was breathtaking! The swim platform was ideal although you need to get there early to reserve a spot. The staff were super friendly and the shuttle service to the taxi rank was really helpful (although a paid service). The breakfast was super yummy, the hotel itself really clean. It’s also a great location for exploring the little town and close to the local beaches.

The restaurant was really yummy but also high end cuisine so if you were wanting to stay in and grab a quick wholesome bowl of pasta you won’t find one I’m afraid.

    9MariePosted on: 9-18-2024

    Loved the beauty of surroundings

It was a far walk from the bus stop. The thermal park was a far walk unless you called for the golf cart to come.

    8FilipPosted on: 9-14-2024

The view from the room’s balcony is mesmerizing

The dinner at the restaurant is really really bad. The food is not even ok. Some personnel are nice and probably studied hospitality but other’s probably not.

    5FabiennePosted on: 9-14-2024

The location is fantastic. The renovation stylish. The breakfast and dinner are nice on the beautiful terrace facing Capri. The restaurant staff is pleasant.

But is a beautiful shell with no services and certainly not a 5*, only the price is! No luggage help from the entrance of the village, 20mns to get your luggage in your room, maintenance problems in the bathroom never solved during our stay, no service at the beach to get your chair and umbrella: you have to do it yourself...all around and behind the hotel it is not well maintained. Fire extinguishers have not been checked since 2021!!! The day time staff sits and discusses at the reception. Cleaning carts and laundry bags stay in the corridors most of the day. as well as room services plates... The impression is that there is no coaching/managing of this beautifully renovated hotel.

The staff was so friendly and helpful. It was a very relaxing experience. We liked being able to swim in the sea, and being able to use the thermal pools. Absolutely beautiful views. The breakfast was amazing.

    breakfast and location are excellent.

Wish to have at least one or two wall hooks by the door.

The location, the room, the waiter staff.

On the day we checked out, we arranged a luggage taxi to get us to the harbour. We arranged it at 9 am in the morning to be picked up at 11.45. The Manager then gave our taxi to another couple and we were late for our boat. I found that unacceptable.
