Salvatore - or 'Sandy' and his father were gracious, professional and generous with their time and knowledge. The thermal heated indoor pool with hydro-massage was appreciated. Every question we asked was answered to our satisfaction, along with recommendations for great dining in Sant'Angelo. You could not ask for a more hospitable stay in a well-situated spot overlooking the sea. If you are looking for a simple comfortable stay in a friendly environment, you cannot do any better than Hotel Residence Sant'Angelo.

Perfect location, Sanny was fantastic to communicate with.

The hotel is very old and not well kept. The owner (Sanny’s father) was over friendly, to the point that he allowed himself to knock on my door at night. A very bad experience for me and not recommended for women traveling alone.

The hosts were amazing! Friendly, knowledgeable, and quick to respond. The location was good next to a beach.

The rooms could use some noise-proofing.

A great place to stay and relax. The owners are amazing, very friendly, and able to help with anything you need. Breakfast is great with fruit, yogurt, bread, cornetto coffee, juice and more. Very family and kids friendly. Great warm pool on the roof and a nice inside spa. The bus stop is right outside the hotel. There is a beach basically under the hotel just a few minutes walking. We would stay here again you will never find better hospitality anywhere.

Sanny and his father were the most amazing hosts! They were very helpful and kind, Sanny recommended restaurants and places to visit. The breakfast was very good and the room was great as well. The roof terrace and pool is very nice with incredible views. We will definitely visit again sometime!

This hotel, with its stunning view of a beautiful bay, is the most beautiful place on Ischia, with a sandy beach (no rocks). I've traveled half the island and haven't found a more beautiful place. And if you add in the fact that the owners of this hotel—a son and his father—are very hospitable, kind, and friendly people who welcome you like family and feed you a delicious and varied breakfast, add in the perfectly white sheets and towels, comfortable orthopedic pillows, and they have a thermal pool and a whirlpool. All this makes your vacation a memorable one, and you'll want to come back again. The bus stop next the hotel. It’s 45-50 min from the Port by bus.

We had a wonderful holiday here. Thank you Sanny and Giuseppe for being so helpful, kind and friendly. Every morning the breakfast was superb - homemade cakes, coffees and pizza. We loved having the pool facilities - both the indoor and outdoor pools. Sanny helped us with any questions we had and gave us some great food recommendations. The location is fantastic - with fabulous views of Sant Angelo. We can't wait to return some day!

We had such a wonderful stay at Sant’Angelo Residence Hotel! I came here with my girlfriend and everything was just perfect. The place itself is fantastic, super comfortable, and the location is great – right by the bus stop so it’s really easy to get around the island.A special shout-out to Sanny and his father – they were amazing hosts! Both so kind, welcoming, and always ready with the best tips on what to do and see in Ischia. They really made us feel at home.Couldn’t be happier with our stay – highly recommend this hotel if you’re visiting Sant’Angelo!

Truly, I liked everything about Sant’Angelo Residence Hotel!

I loved the breakfast and the staff was so amazingly helpful and kind! The view at breakfast was breathtaking. Location was great and very easy to get to Sant Angelo with all the shops and restaurants.

I thought room smelled like mildew a little bit. I think the room could’ve been cleaner- some renovations/updates would be helpful too! I also recommend getting new white bedding to give it a clean look.

Location is unreal. Cannot be beaten. Stunning scenery. Excellent breakfast. Perhaps the best hosts I have ever had. Value for money is top notch - again, I do not see how it could be beaten.

I don’t like that so many people know about it and want to stay there, because I want to go back and have the whole property to myself lol

Sanni, the owner, was extremely welcoming and generous with recommendations in the area. We felt right at home. The pool deck on the roof has a great view of sant’angelo, and the hotel’s access passage to a small but beautiful local beach below was excellent.

Sanny and his father are the best hosts! They treat you as family from the moment you arrive! The facility is clean, the breakfast is delicious and the location could not be more beautiful! Our kids loved the rooftop pool and we enjoyed lounging on the balcony overlooking the marina and town from above. Sanny had great recommendations from food and gelato to places to visit and things to do. He also provided discounts to places in town if you let him know ahead of time where you are going. I’ve stayed at hundreds of hotels and traveled around the world, this is without a doubt the best experience I’ve ever had and I hate that I didn’t book our stay longer, it is sad to leave!

This was truly a gem! We received the best hospitality of our life. We traveled as Family of 4 from California with grandparents from Czechia. From the arrival Sonny and Giuseppe treated us like family. Amazing location just a short walk to lovely town and port of sant Angelo. Bus stop right at the door. Small lovely beach and restaurant right under the hotel. Breakfast was lovely. Endless offering of espresso or cappuccino. Sonny helped us to reserve boat trip around the island with his friend, it was affordable and they fed us the best food on the boat all day long, bruschetta, mussels, pasta… The hotel has lovely two thermal pools. Endless tips and hospitality provided. All was incredible. My favorite was returning home after all day exploring and having the best conversation with old Giuseppe sipping local rucollino made by monks. We will be back!!! I will sum this up. One lovely hotel in santo Angelo owed by true angels.

The property is ideally located a 10 minute walk from Sant’Angelo, the sweetest little town. The upper deck has a really nice heated pool, and chairs for lounging. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The family who own the hotel are the sweetest, most accommodating, friendly people you will ever meet. We extended our stay for an extra 3 nights after being here for 20 minutes. It felt like home immediately. If I could give more stars I would. We will most definitely continue to come back to this beautiful hotel and stay with Sanny and Guiseppe for many years to come.

Fantastic location with beautiful views and scenic 10-minute walk into the town of Sant’Angelo. Amazing hospitality at this family-run establishment — owners were kind, engaging, and helpful with local recommendations as well as restaurant bookings (there are some great places to eat in Sant’Angelo). Our kids loved the outdoor terrace and pool as well as the indoor thermal pool. Between the location and the friendly owners, we can’t wait to stay here again!
