    Pros +

    • The location was perfect and exactly what I was looking for. The room accommodated three of very comfortably and we had a balcony overlooking the water! Better than I even expected. Our room was new and updated. The staff was friendly and accommodating and even planned our transfer for us from the plane to the ferry then to the hotel. Everything went off without a hitch. The hotel is very relaxing and we enjoyed all the thermal pools (which were drained and cleaned every night) and also enjoyed the natural steam room. Breakfast was good and had everything g one would need to start their day.
    • The location is great with absolutely stunning use. What is difficult is that they’re supposed to be shuttle service and it rarely is available.
    • Location and the ability to relax- not noisy!

    Cons -

    • At first we found getting around a bit cumbersome since cars are not allowed in that whole area…however the hotel is most accommodating with their little cart service shuttling where you need to go, and then once we got the lay of the land, walking was easier than anticipated once we found out there was such a little cute sea town easily in walking distance, then transportation was a breeze from there! The restaurants in the town were also fantastic!
    • It could use some TLC, especially the baths.
    • Restaurant should be opened longer and more variety.

The location is great with absolutely stunning use. What is difficult is that they’re supposed to be shuttle service and it rarely is available.

It could use some TLC, especially the baths.

Facilities good, but dinner kitchen was not at the level of ISCHIA. Lucky some restaurant are around the hotel.

Kitchen for dinner . The location is good for young people, not for old member of families with motility issues. Sant’Angelo it is difficult to reach, but is it lovely .

    The thermal spas are amazing!

They had a small set menu for every meal and it was difficult to get off the property to somewhere else. There was no room service and we were on the very top of the hill with rarely an option for the electric car to take us up to our room. I specifically picked our room with the terrace to be able to have coffee in the mornings when I woke up. However the coffee maker in room wasn’t great and the main part of the hotel did not open until 8, when I am up at 6 and before it was so incredibly hot on the terrace. People can also do a day pass there so you are competing with people who are not staying at the hotel for chair space, which is annoying.

    Stunning location. Very clean.

3times I asked for an iron and another cup… cup never came and finally I was told they didn’t have any irons.Dinner first night was a disaster… I never managed to get my sea bass… an hour after my company had their mains!Electric car which brings you up and down hill.. was more unavailable than not. You couldn’t walk the steps if you have any mobility issues. You would think complementary water would be provided in the heat!!!

    Amazing thermal parkNice location

An expensive, 4 star hotel like this must offer a free electric car ride to Sant’Angelo town, cannot make guests leave the thermal park at 6pm, need to offer rides to farther rooms which are after a very steep road

The room was perfect, very spaciouls, clean, cmpletely renovated, had a wonderfully working a/c and a supersized 2mt bed! The terrace was also very big. The breakfast was also very tasty, and even had homemade cakes. Loads of pools to chose from, as well as a direct beach access. I can´t wait to return!

The staff were a huge credit to the hotel, the views were beautiful, a real picturesque location. The pools at different temperatures came in more useful than I initially thought they would.( multiple pools at different temps) I would like to give Vito the driver between apollon and miramare a special mention, so helpful and always a smaller on his face.

The smart tv did not work with any apps, such as prime, Netflix or YouTube. This was reported to the reception numerous times but was never resolved. This was an issue as given hotel location, after ten o clock, there is little to do other than relax, which is the purpose of this resort, but on an evening it is difficult.

Breakfast was great! Th pool and spa is phenomenal. This property and staff are awesome and on top of everything. Very welcoming, helpful, and caring !I wish I could have stayed longer. Bellísima propiedad!

The walls are thin I could hear everything from the next room. Baby crying at 3 am and then again at 5.I’m a mom so I understand but for others maybe not so good

The location, view and staff were wonderful. Special thanks to bartender Franca and the rest of the day time service staff. Reception staff was also very accommodating.

Breakfast was mediocre especially hot items considering 4 star expectations.

    Room comfortable lovely maid

Several things . Wasn’t informed that so inaccessible had to pay 15€ to get to hotel after paying a taxi 55€ from the port .Bagging of sunbeds and not monitoring true usage. No dining room as such except to half board customers.Breakfast unimaginative always the sameGenerally rather run down.Allowance of day trippers .

    6JoakimPosted on: 7-4-2024

View was nice, staff were friendly

Ischia is an island without a proper sewage system from any buildings so bathing water is not clean, and during the weekend there were a lot of boats just outside the beach that dumped their sewage. So despite being on the outer side of Ischia it was not very clean.

The hotel, views and the thermal pools are exceptional

1.Did not get the room we booked. We paid extra for a room with terrace and they gave us a room with balcony. Only after complaining, we got an upgrade but had to deal with a lot of attitude from the Director, he made us feel like we were complaining for the sake of it! 2.Hotel is only reachable by electric cars which need to be paid by you! Taxis cannot access the hotel and this is not disclosed on the website.

Thermal spa excellent but all a bit ‘early season’ eg no restaurant. Rooms good. St Angelo pretty location.

Misleading description - location a long way from main hotel (and breakfast) and golf cart taxi service hopeless. Staff friendly but unhelpful. Very poor immediate area: run down + derelict buildings. Beach rather average

We loved this hotel, especially the location with panoramic views of the sea and that there were only electric cars. The staff were friendly, very attentive and Sandia had especially good English. Thank you to Kaymer who went over and above to make us feel welcome and cared for.We were very impressed by the breakfast spread with all manner of baked goods, juices, cold meats & cheese, hot food, fresh eggs etc. And stunning views of the bay.It is a very healing place with the natural, thermal springs to bathe in at a range of temperatures and very well maintained and created. The sea is right there and I loved being there at low season as pretty much had the sea to myself most days. The hotel has a simple beauty, and I enjoyed doing some yoga one morning on the balcony overlooking the bay. We ate in the local town and hotel and every meal was high quality and delicious. I didn't want to leave!

The walls were clearly quite thin as we could hear the neighbouring rooms as they closed cupboards and talked. I could also smell the cigarette from the balcony below one morning.

The hotel keeps its standards of quality and comfort. Rooms are completely renovated and cosy. The staff is friendly and helpful. San Angelo is the most green and beautiful place in Ischia. Amazing nature around, like in botanical garden.

Wish the property owners should invest more in renovation of Apollon terme. It’s also very sad that terms are closed during the winter time.

Most of the staff is wonderful and in general I love this place. Location is great, the thermal baths are wonderful

The rooms are tiny and very basic. I like a fairly firm bed, but these are hard. When we had some basic requests (water kettle, getting the included shuttle) we had to keep asking. Shuttle was often not available and the walkthrough shortcut through the Miramar was also not always available. Breakfast was also pretty basic, often coming on the late side, they'd have run out of stuff. Gluten free selection very small.

We loved the island. The hotel has stunning views. Breakfast was good. The beach was really enjoyable. We all loved the pools.

The location while beautiful was a little isolated.
