The staff was excellent - front desk, waiters, etc. A family run hotel that treats guests well. The front desk answered our varied questions about the area and accommodations for meals. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, wine Excellent along with wait staff!

Wifi was spotty at times. We could not make use of our balcony due to a broken door. The stay was overall wonderful and these were minimal annoyances.

Location overlooking the town of Altomonte - beautiful views .!!

Hard to access on top of the mountain but worth it because the views are great .! The bed not good ?

The only thing that could use improvement is the bed. It has a very hard (and a bit worn out) matras.

The property is family run , the owners really care about their guests’ experience and made us feel very welcome.

The property is very clean and well organised and the location is within walking distance to the borgo.

I've stayed at the Barbieri twice before and I had a room with a balcony and a view of the Old Town. This time I was given a room with no view. The staff were kind enough to move me to a room with a window which had a partial view of the Old Town. The Barbieri's closeness to town is a real plus.

I wish I could have had a room with a balcony, which gives you a full view of the old town. I'm older and may never get there again so I was disappointed. Altomonte is my paternal grandparents home town.

The views were incredible ! The restaurant top notch!

Rooms were dated. Scuffed walls. Old hard beds, but for 110 Euros I’m ok with it. Can’t say I wanna go back but I’m not mad. The pool looked nice but we didn’t use it

Breakfast and lunch were delicious and the staff are so friendly and go above and beyond to make you feel at home and ensure you have everything you need. Pool was beautiful especially on a hot summers day.

I liked the kindness and professionalism of management and staff. They have a great restaurant, parking is another added value, and they have the best Altomonte town view.

I believe the room, at least the one we stayed at, could benefit from some renovation.

The property was beautiful . The food was wonderful. There was a special event next room to the dining room with a lot of noise and young children running about creating a lot of noise. But I understand that happens, and didn’t take away from the great service received in the dining room

The property itself was not an issue. the restaurant was top notch, especially the server for dinner and breakfast the following morning. We were on the 3rd floor and the elevator was out of service. the WiFi was very spotty, off and on, when it was on it was very slow. Being unable to regulate the heat from our room, and was told to just shut it off.

This is a modern, well managed hotel that hosts a top restaurant. It is a great destination.
