    Pros +

    • Nice comfortable hotel, which you would expect from Radisson. The quality of the food is not the best, and there is a strange thing with the elevators that I have not seen before, there are 4 elevators but if you press the button for one of them, only that one will come, normally should any of them come, so you need to go press the buttons for the others as well, anyway not a big issue.
    • Close to the city center and Bahnhof. Free of charge coffee, tea and water in the lobby. Good workspace.
    • The location was very near Erfurt's central train station.

    Cons -

    • I would like to have hangers from entrance for the coats, water (just 1 in the room) and 1 more chair, while we were 2 people in the room.
    • The hotel needs detailing; my room was not wiped down; it was cleaner when I left. Kind of gross. Filth is not value for the money. Walk through cigarette smoke entering and exiting. Erfurt is struggling.
    • Coffee or some black drink was splattered all over the wall below television from a previous guest. Mud and other substances were not wiped from the walls. I was overcharged on initial invoice. Housekeeping did not come or even knock on door for 6 night stay.

Modern design, comfortable bed, new furnishings. Comfortable shower. Excellent desk staff. Breakfast is pretty good.

The hotel was very clean, had a very nice staff, and also a great lobby. Free coffee service was very good but I wish they had informed me when checking in. The room was designed quite nice. It was very comfortable, no disturbing noises and it had a nice floor heating in the bathroom. The location is also great, good if you are trying to get used to the city.

I could not understand why there were no slippers for the bathroom or cotton buds. I was also expecting a mini fridge or at least a glass in the room.

The room size and the breakfast was good

The pillow, there was only one, was flat and Lumpy. Asked for a second one and got one that was less flat but still lumpy. It was like sleeping on a pillow of mossy rocks

Since I came by train, the location worked perfectly. The Old Town isn’t far, and with the tourist card it was super easy to just hop on a tram from the station. The bathroom did its job and the bed was comfy enough for a good night’s sleep.

No fridge in the room, no bottled water at the bar, and check-in took forever (there’s a big ad for the online kiosk check-in, but… it wasn’t working). My first impression felt more like walking into a youth hostel from the 1970s than a modern hotel. Retro can be cool if done right, but here the quirky decor felt a bit forced rather than stylish. The lobby had a messy vibe, again more “Jugendherberge” than hotel. My room was on the first floor (which at the back is basically ground level), so my view was straight onto a parked car — not exactly the Paris skyline, more like a U.S. budget motel. The service at reception was hit and miss: sometimes chilled in a nice way, sometimes a little cocky. And surprisingly, English didn’t come easy for the staff, which is rare in Germany these days. The area around the station also wasn’t the nicest to stroll through after dark.

    Disappointing.

Husband tried to get a room, was told they were sold out. I went online and got a room with no issue. When I went inside to check in, the front desk clerk was very rude. The front desk clerk was rude, the rooms were warm, we were given a handicap room but thats not what we booked. Spiders in the corners of windows.

Very nice staff, fast and reliable. Drinks at the bar are reasonably priced.

The cleanliness is acceptable but can be improved

Easy Check In and Out. Comfortable hotel rooms. Nice staff. Good location.

It didn't have a fridge. A small one would be good for the rooms.

Convenient location near railway station. Excellent breakfast in very specious breakfast room.Pleasant staff. Many tv channels on large tv.Fantastic bed ! (if you like stiff mattresses, which I do)

You have to adjust to the color scheme, unless you are a LSU fan or alumni.Yes, purple and gold/yellow everywhere in the hallways ! (I don't mind)

    6OleksandrPosted on: 4-22-2025

The room had a stylish design, as was depicted on the photos, and an accurate description. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I also liked the location, close enough to the old town.

There were a couple of things which could have been better. First of all, the toilet wasn't completely clean, as you might expect in a hotel with a decent rating. There was an impression, that it was not disinfected after the previous guests. Secondly, the pillows were pretty uncomfortable, it seemed like the filling of the pillows had some clumps and there were uneven areas. This definitely needs some improvement.

The best hotel in Eastern Germany. Perfect location — everything is clean, new, and high-tech.

Everything was great, the 24/7 hit drinks in the lobby were a great bonus, breakfast could be a bit improved with fresh fruits and vegetables, everything else was great, good value for money, recomended !

The room was a bit smaller than expected, but everything was rather new and worked well for us, nothing really to write here.

Very nice hotel, close to downtown and the railway station. The room was clean and the staff was helpful.
