Hotel Carat

Clean decent sized room and bathroom.

The hotel was closed on Sunday which might have been ok except we couldn’t access the lift to get to our room. Nor could we get anything from the bar. There was no kettle in the room so we couldn’t even make a cup of tea. The woman on the front desk when we checked in had limited English, and our German is equally limited so we didn’t understand the full implications of the hotel being closed. It is not what I expect from a mid level hotel.

Nice hotel outside of the city center, in a suburban and quiet area. The Room was spacious, bathroom not the most modern but clean and again good size. Breakfast was great, eggs, yoghurt, variety of bread, muesli, juices and filter coffee. Car park was perfect for us, spots are limited but there's more parking options on public street. Staff was very friendly. A 15-20 min stroll into the city. Keep in mind it is partially uphill when returning to the hotel, there's also a bus stop right in front of the hotel.

The staff were lovely, parking was included.

Local roadworks made it difficult to find. Walk into town easy but uphill coming back. Probably wouldn't bother younger people! For us would have been nice if there was a tram or bus stop nearby.

No aircon!! 4 star with no air conditioning? I should have realised when I walked into reception. The temperature was the same as outside... 30c!Not possible to sleep.Room was not of a size expected.

disappointed wouldn’t be even close

well they placed me in freshed paint room so my shirt got ruined 5 min after i arrived. In the begging they shown a responsible attitude, they offer me a better room (a basic treat every hotel would do if there’s a bit of common sense in the head) and they said they would give me 20 euros as a compensation for the shirt. Days later they changed their mind and decided that 10 euros was enough since i had enjoyed a better room I did not ask for

Very well located. In a calm, charming area with the city centre easily reachable by foot. Safe, free parking. Good breakfast.

The staff are really welcoming and helpful, good parking for the bikes, it’s very clean, it has a bar and they do a really good breakfast, what more could you want.
