Mercure Hotel Erfurt Altstadt

The location was great as it's relatively close to the main train station and also right near all the main things to do in Erfurt. Great restaurants were just a block or two away. Clean and quiet while the staff was friendly and spoke good English

1. Shower riser rail doesn't hold the shower head at desired height and keeps moving/ falling down to the bottom, inconvenient when taking shower.2. Extra charge of 15€ per night for getting a quiet room, this is quite an unfriendly policy.3. Pillow quality rather poor. Need to be replaced. Pls add to your CAPEX plan...

The free mini bar was great. Breakfast was excellent everything you would want. All of the staff were helpful and accomodating.

Stunning location !!! Very lovely and clean . Staff were helpful .

The information said snacks and drinks were available at reception but the lady at reception said there no snacks , only drinks . I would have liked opportunity for laundry or drycleaning

Location is super central, staff super friendly and helpful, comfortable bed and clean room.

Liked that it was close to train station

Hotel was under construction tho they did give free drink each due to that. It was very hot out and they do not have air conditioning. We were on 4th floor so all could do was open window and it was very noisy being in town. Difficult to sleep.

Location was nice.

Room had no airco, I had to phone some to come and open the window. The breakfast was euro 23.80 p.p. which is in my opinion outrageous and we didn't use it. There are plenty of cafes in the neighbourhood where you pay 23 euros for two persons.

The hotel was right in the center of town and most places could be reached on foot.

The rooms facing the street were quite loud at night.

Excellent location, great staff, very helpful, saved me lots of stress actually. Clean and comfortable.

At one tram stop away from the Railway Station, it was easy to reach this hotel. The hotel is also located on a small side street which reduces traffic noise. Five minutes walk away is the Krämerbrücke and Old City. A few minutes in another direction leads to two of the city's museums and shopping arcades. In short, an ideal location with modern comfortable rooms and pleasant public spaces. Also an excellent breakfast buffet with truly good coffee in their Orangerie.

Not being able to get an evening meal in the Restaurant on our last night due to an ongoing conferance, we were told Restaurant fully booked so they could not seat us their own paying hotel guests

Great central location, walking distance to tourist sights, restaurants, shops. Room and bathroom was clean. Breakfast was excellent.

The rooms were nice and clean. Towels were changed daily. Receptionist was also very kind to us and gave us few tips about the city.

I didn't like the bathtub. Being an elderly person I found to climb in and out of it, i would prefer a shower tray.

Perfect location for a visit to Erfurt Old Town. Private parking garage with plenty of space. Room was nice and spacious. Daily shopping available just round the corner

Good central location while visiting the Domstufenfestspiele. Personnel extremely friendly, very good breakfast, comfortable beds and a modern bathroom.

For this price I do expect to have an air conditioned room. With 34 degrees outside it was very difficult to sleep, opening the windows makes it worse especially when these open to the street noise .
