Pros +
- Stylish, schick, clean, Beautiful! Amazing bed/mattress. I had a great sleep.
- The location was central and updated facilities with a nice bar/restaurant and fitness room. The staff were very accommodating including ordering us taxis and bringing us milk! The restaurant staff were very welcoming and the food was top rated!
- This is clearly aiming to be an excellent hotel and in some ways it is. The building is stylish but comfortable and one member of the reception staff was excellent.
Cons -
- when I arrived I was told that the restaurant wasn't open. The receptionist worked hard to find me an alternative but this involved walking back into town, which I hadn't planned. I didn't realise that the hotel is set on a high plateau above the city centre. This makes for excellent views but a reasonably strenuous walk to the hotel.I found breakfast stressful with too much reliance on technology for the drinks and no ordinary English breakfast tea. A bit more human interaction with staff would make the experience more welcoming.
- Only a very minor point: Shower pressure could have been a bit stronger.
- A shame that the restaurant was closed for two evenings, particular on our first evening on arrival after a very long journey!

The hotel is in a very quiet part of town on top of the Petersberg, yet only a 10-minute walk to the cathedral and downtown (downhill going to the city and uphill when returning); there does not seem to be public transportation to Petersberg, but an elevator operates during daytime. The hotel itself was also quiet during our visit, which we enjoyed. The room on the top floor was bright (as we had requested) and modern, with fancy lights and controls. Everything was sparkling clean. Beds were firm. Wifi was very fast. The breakfast buffet offered ample choice, including items usually not available in German hotels, such as guacamole, thuringia sausages, and various marinated salads and spreads; the cost of EUR 20.50 was not low though. Parking in front of the hotel cost EUR 15 and was very convenient; a reservation is mandatory, as spaces are very limited.
Only a very minor point: Shower pressure could have been a bit stronger.
**Hotel Review: A Delightful Stay**I recently stayed at this charming and stylish hotel and was thoroughly impressed. The decor is modern and tasteful, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The rooms are clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable and cozy environment for guests. One of the standout features of the hotel is its range of amenities. The on-site restaurant offers a delicious menu with a variety of options, perfect for dining in after a long day of exploring. Additionally, the hotel boasts a sauna, which is a fantastic way to relax and unwind.Parking is convenient and reasonably priced at 15 euros, which is a fair rate given the location. It's also a dog-friendly establishment, which was a huge plus for us as we were traveling with our furry friend. The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived.Overall, this hotel is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a pleasant and comfortable stay with great amenities and outstanding service. Highly recommended!
Excellent breakfast, friendly and attentive staff - in the restaurant and at reception; wonderful design of the room and the restaurant.
A shame that the restaurant was closed for two evenings, particular on our first evening on arrival after a very long journey!
On top of Petersberg, good decor cleanliness and comfort
Amazing Location, comfortable bed, great shower
Quite pricey for Erfurt, but probably justified for the amazing location
The location on top of the Petersburg is fabulous. Right in the middle of the city, yet very quiet en secluded. Enough parking space. Rooms are super modern en super clean. Bathroom is also very complete en clean. Staff is very friendly. We booked without breakfast and didn't have the time to take it anyway, but it was available for 20€ per person.
Rooms are rather small, and while it maybe very personal, I hated the pillows. It was like sleeping with your head on a balloon. Other than that there was absolutely nothing to complain about. I definitely recommend this hotel.
Location, breakfast was nice, fitness for free
Very friendly and supporting staff, modern interior, very good breakfast
Very quiet and pleasant location, not too far from the town centre. Breakfast good, but a little overpriced.
Hard plastic cover on the matress.Brain-curdling muzak at breakfast. After the first day I went somewhere else.
The first room I was given (first floor) had a very limited view on a wall. I complained bitterly and they accepted to change. The room on the second floor was really nice and well designed. The breakfast is very good: a large choice of good products.
For the price I paid, beakfast should have been included and I should have been given a better room at once.
Room was nice and cozy.
Restaurant was overpriced and limited. Location not great, difficult to navigate.
Great location, the food in the restaurant and wine selection was very good.
