Good location near the heart of town.

Our key cards didn't work on the 2nd day and the staff blamed us for them not working.

The hotel is very close to the old city, shops, restaurants. It’s also very close to the train station, only 10 min walking.

We had only one towel for hands, face, body. It would be good to have one extra.

The location is good, and the facilities are very new.

Neighborhood is nice. You can reach the train station and other shops very quickly by foot. Room size was alright, would work great for two people as well. The breakfast was fresh and alright for 15EUR - however, it's not the biggest selection available.

The price per night was 150 EUR excluding breakfast. Looks like there was a special event I didn't attend to. Given that, the price was close to 2.5 times the normal rate and that raises expectations.The window was dirty on the inside, like someone dashed their head into the glas. I found hair in both shower and the floor. There was clearly no quality control which is not acceptable at this rate. The staff overall was friendly, however, one of the receptionists made "funny" faces after other guests turned their back to them. He seemed stressed without of a lot of going on. What a shame that others could see. Again, unacceptable especially with the price in mind.The brochure of Ibis in my room claimed "sound proof" rooms. That was the case for the outside, but not -as stated- for the inside. I could hear my room neighbors talking and especially could here everyone on the floor.

Location is very good, central enough to walk anywhere. Room was cleaned daily.Internet was good

My room was opposite the Barenfuess Kirche where they were rehearsing for a show every evening. After I had heard this so many times I had to keep my window closed. The toilet cistern in my bathroom leaked constantly.

Although I was very happy to have been accommodated in the room for handicap people, I wish the bed would’ve been a little wider.

The location - close to centre. Breakfast was nice

Noisy room - I could hear the heating system working in the next room - constant noise all night. Did not turn on heating system in my room due to the same reason -way too much noise. I received a room near the lifts - I could hear everybody coming and going.

Location is excellent and quiet. The building is spacious. The lifts are efficient. The bedroom was clean.

Providing services at the moment is very challenging. I fully understand. But I was left with a sense that the hotel was not really managed. It staggers along. For example, staff on reception are very pleasant but the process is slow; breakfast is ok, but the tables are not cleared and two days running there was no tea. Tea is still available in Germany so I don’t know why the Ibis hotel was unable to provide some. The building is tired which adds to one’s slight disappointment.

Budget hotel reasonably priced. Air conditioned and with great basement garage. Good location on edge of the old town. Comfortable beds and good breakfast selection.

Empty shower gel in shower and inside door handle of room came off in my hand but just minor issues for the price it is good value.

Central location 10 minutes walk from Hauptbahnhof, 5 minutes walk from central tram interchange, near to shops and restaurants yet in a quiet street

Good value for money, clean and nice location!

Bookin.com charged us a higher amount than was stated on the hotel bill.

The room is not large but the use of space is perfect. It provides a lot of storage space, a large desk and place to sit. This was our third time we stayed in this hotel and every time we come I notice new lovely details, all matching. There are two doors so you cannot hear anyone in the corridor and also the street below is quiet. The bed is very comfortable, the bathroom is very well lit, there is a good shower, the toilet paper is right in front of you when sitting on the toilet, the large mirror on the inside of the bathroom door allows you to see yourself from the back. The breakfast was very good, including a fruit salad, excellent scrambled eggs, boiled eggs and meat balls. First time in a hotel we had also chives, much appreciated!

Breakfast was only till ten o'clock. We had to finish our coffee in the lobby but it was not a big problem.
