- Breakfast was amazing!!
- This is a lovely inn/hotel, well located to visit a number of beautiful towns, including Pienza and Cortona. The place is beautifully, subtly decorated and has a warm, welcoming vibe. Cool design, new, very clean, and well maintained. Nice bathroom products. Stand outs were: the staff! All the staff were terrific, from Paolo who greeted us, to the other front desk staff, to the restaurant staff, morning and night, the chef, and the spa staff Cecilia and Tania. Housekeeping did a great job. (The gentleman with glasses who advised on wine -- a treasure!) The restaurant was exceptional, and a prime reason we'd gladly return to stay. Dinner was casually elegant with the most wonderful food. Breakfast was also delicious. Great massages at the spa. Would recommend the couples massage experience. We enjoyed the small size of the hotel, too. We stayed in winter but I'd love to stay in warm weather when you can use the pool and outdoor sitting areas.
- Luigi, Marco and the rest of the team provided amazing service from the moment we arrived until we left. They thought of every detail. Marco even got up very early to see us off, with freshly made espresso and pastries. The food and wine were superb! I’ve found myself craving the meals since our return home. We didn’t have a car, but Luigi scheduled 2 wine tours for us, both uniquely different. The night the restaurant on-site was closed he thoughtfully made a reservation up the road. The rain shower head is divine! The bed is comfortable. The grounds are gorgeous and we enjoyed several meals gazing at the beautiful, rolling hills of Tuscany. It’s obvious love goes into all they for their guests. If you have an opportunity to stay here, do it. You’ll thank me.
Cons -
- Room aircon was loud and stuck on 29 degrees despite asking to have it lowered at dinner. Pool wasn’t heated
- The cryothermal circuit in the spa was a little simple, and 2 of the spaces slightly cramped for a couple. There's probably not room but it would be great to have a cold plunge pool and/or a whirlpool. Overall, it's a pretty facility and the massages were A+++
- That we only stayed 2 nights. I wish we stayed here longer, especially so I could have tried more of their delicious cuisine. The squid pasta!!

This is an exceptional hotel in an exceptional location. The breakfast was excellent and beautifully served in the garden, offering an incredible view of the landscape. The personnel were very helpful and friendly. We toured several small cities in Tuscany, and among all the locations and hotels, this one stood out as the best by far. I can only recommend it further.
The service was top notch. Luigi was an incredible host that made our whole vacation perfect. Service at the restaurant was supreme as well. The property is beautiful and exceeded our expectations. We are already planning our next trip.
The location on Booking.com brought us up a dirt mountain.
Loved the rustic exterior of this property and the recently refurbished rooms. Handy position as we were able to make the hotel a base for our Tuscan sightseeing. Great pool and area surrounding and the view from the exterior dining area provided a beautiful backdrop. The restaurant managed brilliantly by Marco was fabulous for breakfast and dinner. Marco always made us feel like old friends with his large personality, humorous banter and his knowledge of wines and music. A special mention to Pierro who was exceedingly helpful, thoroughly engaging and a genuinely lovely soul. Nothing was ever too much trouble for him when assisting us and we truly valued his warm and friendly demeanour. Paolo and Eramania (sp?) also added to the joy of being in the bar/restaurant and contributed to creating a very memorable stay for us. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend this property.
The aircon was somehow inefficient and would not drop below 25degrees. With the outside temperature around 35 degrees it was unpleasant in the room. Needs to be addressed.
We did not want to leave the property. The staff were incredible, and went out of their way to make our stay memorable. We felt this stay was a perfect 2 nights to take a break from the hectic travel days and busy city's. The rooms are beatiful, modern and the breakfast was delicious.
I loved the view from breakfast, outside overlooking Tuscan hills. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the food was lovely. The rooms were spacious and clean, as well as having everything we would need in them. Would 100% come again !
Only issue is if you need to get a taxi in this area it is very pricey, though this is not the fault of the hotel!
We loved everything about Poggio Paradiso! It was clear the entire staff wanted to do everything they could to make our stay perfect. Luigi was a huge help before we arrived, arranging bikes and dinner reservations for us. He even ran to the bike store immediately to exchange my bike for an electric one when we realized how hilly the area is. The food was fantastic (dinner and breakfast). The location is beautiful and convenient for getting to all the nearby cities. The room and bed were huge and well decorated. You don’t need to leave the property if you don’t want to. We enjoyed sitting by the pool in the afternoon and out on the terrace in the early evening. A+ property!!
Great, comfortable rooms. Service was incredible - Pierro and Marco were amazing.
Beautiful and serene location. Room was spacious and bed super comfortable. The staff were extremely nice and friendly, happy to help with whatever we needed. One of the best breakfasts ever.
This resort was stunning and really captured the magic of Tuscany. The staff were all so helpful and especially the restaurant and dining. We highly recommend dining there. Laurene and Nik were especially helpful Breakfast is a MUST! Best menu! The hotel host was really attentive to our needs and also graciously gifted us a platter of cheese and meat when he saw us drinking wine and beer on our balcony
Awesome staff and great food and service.
Air Conditioning and Wi-Fi could have been better in the room
Friendly and professional staff(in resort and restaurant).Evening dinners( perfect cuisine!!! ) with red wine and beautyfull view on Val di Chiana. Feeling of private and elite holiday for reasonable price.
A great place to stay near Pienza, close to montepolciano and montelcino, whe got a warming welcome when we arrived, the rooms are big and the family rooms are big and comfortable the breakfast was spoiling and Laura and Luigi are wonderful ,they gave us advice about the area and always smiled and very helpful with anything, we want to come back!!!!
Beautiful location, small size, wonderful food and friendly staff. Luigi and Laura were very kind and helpful with information about getting around in Tuscany. They made us look forward to coming “home” each day.
We had a lovely stay at the location. We received a free upgrade and stayed in a beautiful suite. The room was huge! It was clean and comfortable. The service was excellent, people were really friendly. We got offered an aperitivo at the swimming pool. Also the woman working in the restaurant was so friendly to us and she made the best omelet for breakfast. The food was delicious and excellent; really good italian food. The view from the terrace and restaurant is beautiful over the tuscany hills. We loved our stay.
When we stayed here there was a big tent in the garden on fake grass, that made the location lose a bit of it’s charm for us. The pool was not really clean maybe because the weather was not that good that day.
Fantastic place with a magnificent view and nice pool area. Great personell.
I really liked this place but the rooms could be more modern.
Luigi, the hotel manager, went out of his way to help. My wife was not feeling well and he took us to the hospital and stayed with me, so he could translate. The staff was also great. They could not do enough for all the guests. The food was excellent and the location was fantastic. If you go to Tuscany this is the place to stay.
There was nothing not to like at this hotel.
The Staff Support us in all of our belongings. The are very friendly and made our stay wonderful. The Resort is very beautiful.
Behind the Resort is a Paty tent for marriages events. They use in some areas artificial Grass.
