Altes Eishaus, Hotel & Restaurant

Great historic building with a wonderful restaurant down stairs. The staff at the restaurant was friendly. We had breakfast at the restaurant buffet that seemed reasonably priced. The service was quick and the young lady running the facility kept my coffee cup full. The hotel is an historic building that was a charming element of the restaurant. I valued that there was a good meal available at all times as this facility was on the edge of town. I wish we had dinner at this location, but we will for sure on our next stay. Lovely grounds, and the hotel is located along side of a quaint river.

The only element that I did not enjoy was that the room was quite small. Not sure if I had other options at the hotel, but we felt the space was too small for the two of us and the huge overstuffed luggage we took along with us.

Nice historic location with pretty environment. Clean rooms. Good breakfast. Friendly employees.

Spacious rooms with a balcony to one. Large bathrooms.

One of our family group was assigned a room in a different building. As a single young person it felt a little less secure than the main hotel. Some elements needed more thorough cleaning.

The bed was comfortable and a good location

The bathroom was incredibly small. Banged my knee on the radiator every time I sat on the toilet. Room was right over the restaurant and a party was going on till very late. Food took over an hour in the restaurant even though it wasn't full except for the party in the divided room.

Rooms clean, food good.

If you arrive before 4pm then hotel is closed and they ask you to wait. If you arrive after 10pm then they close the door and leave you on the street at night without help or support. I was told to wait 2.5h in car before hotel open the entrance although personel was inside and I could wait for room in bar for example. For me it's not a hotel standard.

Good value - did not get coffee or water refill for room when serviced - realized this late at night too late to get service then

A very speciel hotel with memories and machines from earlier in the restaurant.Nice to have diner in the evening in the "Biergarden" - very close to the river.From our room door to a terrace with view to the river.

Infrequent buses, no direct bus to train station, room under roof quite warm in summer, relatively small room and bathroom

The building itself is very nice and in a nice location. Free parking space directly in front of the hotel. Easy check-in and out. Rooms were very clean and easily accessible.

Bathroom needed renovation. Breakfast choice was poor, mostly bread, jam, low-quality sliced cheese and meat. The Lady serving at the breakfast room was so unfriendly.Wifi connection was a disaster, it kept disconnecting.

This is the second time that we have stayed here. The venue has good parking, the rooms are nice a clean. Breakfast is good. The restaurant is excellent. The hotel is on a quiet residential street but within walking distance of the town centre.

Beautiful room in very nice setting near river! On balcony had view of the river. Staff super friendly and helpful, breakfast very tasty and room nkcely decorated.

The 2 personbed was actually 2 beds put together with a one person bedsheet. But it was communicated beforehand so I knew.

Comfortable room, easy parking, lovely beer garden and restaurant on site. Excellent breakfast.

A very nice stay in a property full of character, with up to date facilities and a very good restaurant. The parking is good and the riverside terrace very nice.

Location was calm and decent. Main building was beautiful with a retro-industrial style. Big parking space. Stuff was happy to fulfill our needs.

No option for double bed. Only two beds available. Also, our room was out of the main building and it was looking like a big ISObox with wooden cover on the outside. Between bathroom and beds there was a glass window at the height of our heads with no shade so, if you need privacy or to switch on the light at night without waking up your roomste, you just couldn't

The breakfast was good except not many options for young children. I had a 1 and 2 year-olds

The room was pretty neat and the view I had from the balcony was beautiful. You can sit outside and enjoy a bit of nature with a small lake/river along the side
