Quiet room with fair facilities

Not doing rooms every day. Not replenish water or shampoo's daily but if you check in out and in every day, you will get, Crazy principle as price stays the same.

The room was clean and comfortable. Staff were helpful and kind, and made an extra effort. Special thanks to Colette. The breakfast was delicious and had great variety. The pool and sauna were very pleasant and clean. The location was within easy walking distance of good restaurants and historic sights.

The receptionist was outstanding. I was traveling for work and arrived late and had to leave again prior breakfast. She was so nice to prepare me a coffee and a breakfast box for take-away. I travel a lot and there team was the most friendly I have seen since a long time.

The rooms are a bit older but still okay.

Well situated. Very comfortable bed and bedding. Good water pressure in the shower and delicious breakfast.

Food in main dining room was of good quality.

The reception staff were not knowledgeable and quite rude to my partner who was helping herself to free popcorn at the machine. The reception staff yelled across the foyer ‘that is for hotel guests only’ she replied I am a guest! ANYONE WHO WALKS THRU THE FRONT DOOR OF A HOTEL IS S GUEST. It’s free popcorn if you don’t want us to have it then take it away.

The breakfast was exceptionnal,the room very calm and nice, clean,the staff very nice and helpful and thoughtful.

Clean bathroom, nice breakfast

Beds were not set for the kids, even though we booked for 4 people. Not sure if the issue is with booking.com. Maybe had to inform the hotel on top of the booking

The staff were all terrifically helpful and nice. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean.

Ther was no.clim. and it was very hot-we had to open the.windows and so it was noisy

The breakfast was good and had a nice variety. The room was very spacious and neat.

Unfortunately one of their receptionist staff was very rude when asked for help. She often replied rudely saying she was over-worked and couldn't do anything to help. The facility communicated differently from what was promised without any apologies. Can be a challenge to find parking space when the hotel is filled up. Daily parking fees are charged yet you need to keep going back to the reception for validation every time you need to move your car out so not efficient or convenient.

The breakfast was tasty. The room was very clean and spacious. Far away from noises. The staff at the reception was very kind and helped me a lot in terms of invoice and checks.

The breakfast offers wide variety of dishes, but it would be even nice to show which one contains what. Some plates didn't have any names of the dish.

The SPA (pool, sauna and cool shower). The breakfast is amazing!!!

Excellent and tasty breakfast, friendly and professional staff, comfortable bed, quiet area, convenient parking, etc. Steinsgarten had everything we needed for a good recovery.

It could not be better, at least per our experience.

Room 223 was great but 209 was way too warm. Slept with both windows wide open

The hotel has a very nice and traditional structure. My room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. I really appreciated the complimentary water bottle in the room. Breakfast is excellent.

Although the bed was indeed very comfortable, the bedsheets had weird stains on it and I found hair on my pillow which was disgusting. No air conditioning in the rooms and given the warm weather in Gießen, it was a bit of a bummer.
