My room was extremely spacious and comfortable. Hotel staff were polite, ready to help and accommodate you quickly.Breakfast was one of the best things:the buffet offers many different kinds of dishes.Absolutely recommended!

The hotel is on a quite trafficked road and it's possible to hear some noise from outside while staying in the room.

It was a good stay in gießen, the location is very good. The breakfast was good.

Breakfast should be included in the hotel price because the price is not low and it can be justified only if breakfast is also included.

The room was clean and cozy, the staff were very friendly, and the location is convenient. An excellent hotel.

Everything was great

Hotel is situated very close to the city, room was cosy, breakfast is good for a couple of days stay. Stuff was flexible when changing reservation. Pay parking is convenient in the backyard, payed at the Reception.

Some inconveniences, bathroom door reached the floor, slowly moving. Water supplies (shower, tap, toilet) were surprisingly loud.

We had an emergency stay, as our car broke down nearby. Great service, nice bed and hot shower, couldn’t ask for more

Rooms were of a good size and clean

Staff needs some training — when I asked if there were gluten free options on the breakfast they did not know but also did not volunteer to check on the availability but suggested I go upstairs to ask and the back to the reception to pay for the breakfast. The rooms were also very hot and one could not open the window due it facing a busy and noisy street.The breakfast was very basic for the price - 17 euros. And in my last day they received a huge group that went all at once to eat. There was only one staff member taking care of the room. There was no enough chairs for everyone and the coffee line was so long and slow that I could not enjoy one cup as I run out of time.

Location

Hotel does not give any botteled water for the room and they charge 6 Euro for 1 Liter of water at the reception desk. That is new low of standards. Additionally the receptionist was supposed to open the gate for me when I was leaving and instead he went to get his breakfast. I was waiting at the gate, had to come back and look for the receptionist to open.

The room was large, very clean and comfortable. The breakfast had a small but perfect selection, with all fresh and tasty. Really great location!

The room was spacious, the bed comfortable and there is on site parking (for a fee). Staff was very friendly and helpful!

Breakfast was okay but not more than that. It would be nice to have an option for snacks/something to drink 24/7

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room faced the back of a property so it was quiet and I enjoyed having the chestnut tree for both privacy and some green. The design was also practical and pleasant

The room was pretty filthy. Not just that the carpet is baby stained but it had not been cleaned in a long time and had lots of lint, dirt, feathers and m&ms on the floor. It was a shame, because it put a bit of a dent in my experience

A very well located hotel some 10 mins walk from the train station and 5 mins walk from the city centre. The room was big and very well equipped: a big comfy bed, a small table and a comfy armchair, a sufficiently large set of shelves, a big TV set, a kettle and two coffee mugs (and two wine glasses) plus some coffee and creamer available. The bathroom was also well arranged, large enough and with a hairdryer (which proved useful after a downpour). The personnel was fine, helpful, but not terribly outgoing. The place was cleaned daily.

The major issue was the fact that the reception is located on the first floor, and in order to get there one has to climb two quite high flights of stairs to first even reach the lift - it was not very easy and comfortable with a heavy bag. The window did not lock properly and the noise from the street (surprisingly many sirens to be heard at night) was at times disturbing. Having a spoon beside mugs (and perhaps instead of wine glasses) would be a help too,

Finding the hotel was quite difficult and confusing at first; there are no clear signs, and even though I was in front of it, it wasn't very clear that this was the place I was looking for.

The staff went out of their way to provide information, assist us with our needs, and in general, accommodate our requests. I would recommend the hotel to anyone traveling to Giessen.

Bidet sprayers in the toilet would accommodate diversity.
