Hotel Tusculum

We had a very comfortable stay in Hotel Tusculum. The theme of the hotel is super-artistic. The staff extremely friendly and helpful. Would love to come back again

Location was close to old town and shopping

Toilets were in the hallway and often dirty (urine and paper on the floor). Shower in hallway was tiny and could barely move around.It was also loud at night when people came up the stairs, went to toilet etc.Stayed on 4th floor without elevator and had to carry heavy suitcase up to room.

It was well-located. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It has character with the paintings around the location.

Everything was lovely. No complaints, it was cozy and cute.

There is a communal kitchen with coffee and tea making facilities and a microwave that you can use. Toilet and showers are shared - as long as you can live with that this is a great place at an excellent price.

The guest house is very cosy and all the rooms have differentially themed decoration. A shared kitchen can be used for preparing tea and coffee, storing groceries and there's a microwave.

The room next to the common bathroom was very noisy.

Quirky and different and so comfortable. I slept better there than I do at home! The manager was lovely and could not have been more helpful.

I didn’t like not having my own shower and toilet but I knew I would be sharing when I booked so my own fault really. But that didn’t spoil my stay at all and I would definitely stay there again

The decoration is really good, full of art and details. The room and kitchen are clean and tidy. Staff at reception (not sure if he’s the owner) is so nice. Make me feel like home.

No fan nor AC in the room, which makes it difficult in summer.

The hotel was excellent. Clean, comfortable, quiet. The service was excellent, the staff 100/10. I super recommend it, I stayed for a month and had no problems at all, the owner and staff were super friendly and helpful. Definitely the best hotel in Marburg.

Heavy metal decor was cool!!!! And were able to store our luggage after booking out until we left the town later that day.

Good location with spacious rooms and a separate bike garage. Good value for money for a one night stay.

Bed was a bit uncomfortable and felt like being overused.

The staff was friendly and helpful, and the hotel is located in a good neighborhood in Marburg, a 5 minute walk to the city center. The room was clean and the in-room sink was helpful. Also, the wifi was dependable during my stay.

The hotel comes as advertised. The front desk is not open for most of the day, which is fine for me but maybe some guests would prefer more of an interface with staff. Also, the shared bathrooms can be a bit much for those used to normal hotel rooms.

I was travelling alone, still I was really happy by looking at the hotel. Room was very clean and comfortable. Location was accessable.

Amazing owner full of kindness. Helped me and my friend when we needed it the most. Facility is great and very clean. The place is perfect for it's price.

The bed was so comfy and the shower had an amazing pressure and temperature

Quirky, fun and bright decor in this budget "boutique" hotel. A tiny bit tired in places but the decor makes up for it and it is exceptionally clean. Everything you need is there but tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms would be good, though a shared kitchen downstairs has these facilities. The staff are friendly, efficient and visible!

It was clean and well prepared. Everything like expected. It is not a 4-Star-hotel (never told so, the price is absolutely correct and well according to the conditions!), but everything correct described and prepared. the staff was very kind and helpful. The checkIn with keybox was well organized, i would expect the email a little bit more early, but we got quick and easy all answers we need. Everything is ok, why i have to write negative points ? I do not want to think about something negative, i have a good feeling for that hotel and stuff.
