Though to pinpoint any one thing, parking can be a challenge, rooms can be noisy during restaurant open hours, rooms get stuffy since no A/C which limits airflow

We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay at Hotel Stumpelstal. It had a lovely country feel, yet was conveniently located to Marburg which was a joy to explore. Coming 'home' to a quiet garden area and enjoying a refreshment at the end of the day was a bonus.Also, the staff were lovely.

We had a wonderful short stay and would absolutely recommend it! The hotel itself is well-maintained, clean, and beautifully designed. Every space is thoughtfully arranged to provide comfort. The restaurant was outstanding, offering delicious food with excellent service—definitely a highlight of our stay!Everything about our experience was positive, from the cozy and well-equipped rooms to the overall warm and welcoming atmosphere. We will definitely be coming back!

It’s was a bit far from the city

The breakfast was nice and continental in style. There was a vast choice of food available.

Staff could have been a little more attentive at breakfast. Twice we seated ourselves and had to search for cutlery, napkins, milk and ask for bread and food items that had run out.

Clean, cosy, comfortable.

The food at their restaurant, my burger was super salty and it took one hour to get out food, also, we found it very expensive for what we got. Also, the location is safe and lovely, but to get to the hotel, we needed to go for 30 minutes on country roads.

The apartment was very well equipped. Very quiet location. Breakfast was excellent. Ample free car parking both in the car park and on the street outside.

The bed was a small double which was too small for us. There was a wedding in the hotel which meant that the restaurant was closed in the evening.

Breakfast was awesome and the Attendant really took care of us. Beds were adequate. Bathroom facilities were very nice. Our stay was very relaxing and enjoyable. Hotel is located in a quiet upscale neighborhood.

The evening dining staff were a little annoyed because we walked in. Apparently, we were supposed to make a online reservation which we were never informed about. They were hosting two birthday parties. However, the Head Waiter accomodated us since we were staying there. Nevertheless, we enjoyed an delicious dinner.

The lunch was amazing so we go back for dinner. But the quality was dropped significantly. can be due to high number of customers during dinner.

The room Is small, but you have what you need. It is clean.

The Pillows are not comfortable,if you have back of neck problem, the Pillows are not the best comfortabel ones. We had a room in the corner, internet doesn't work there.

The hotel is very well maintained, with super polite and helpful staff. Housekeeping was amazing and the room was cleaned on a daily basis. The hotel provides a safe parking lot on the side and in front of the hotel, which was very convenient. Unfortunately I did not try the breakfast, but dinner was great, and the restaurant gets nice and crowded in the evenings.

Wi-Fi was not working at all throughout my stay. Hope it will get resolved. Might be a deal-breaker for future business travelers.

Great beds and breakfast was amazing, for only 8 euros! They had a free minibar in the room and a free coffee bar in the lobby.

The pillows were difficult to sleep on and the shower controls were weird. Also, the location is crazy hard to get to.

Adorable hotel and exceptional restaurant attached. The room was very cozy and we felt right at home. Beds were incredibly comfortable. We really appreciated the free minibar, stocked with a few items to welcome us. The breakfast buffet was delicious and very reasonably priced. I just felt so at home in this hotel.

Room was modern and well appointed. Staff were very nice and welcoming.

The room needed some further cleaning. Cobwebs on the light fixtures and the shower had some mold behind the faucet handles and along the bottom of the shower. The walls were very thin and we heard the TV and conversation of the people staying on the floor above us.
