B&B Hotel Marburg

Location was good, affordable price. Overall decent hotel with good quality/price ratio for a short stay.

Very clean, extremely comfortable and the air conditioning was brilliant.

We asked for rooms next to each other which was confirmed. At check in we were given a room across the hallway. Both rooms smelled bad.

Parking after 10:PM is closed so if you arrive late it will be problematic to access as reception is closed as well at that time.

Location was convenient and beds were comfortable. Easy to find from the autobahn

Finding the parking entrance and the entrance to the hotel was not very well marked

Check in was a time consuming experience, unlocking the cycle storage room using a code didn't work for us. Problem solved with a key from the receptionist.

Great location and quiet. Rooms were small but still comfortable. Good air conditioning.

Check in process could have been communicated better - did not realize there was absolutely no flexibility in checking in any earlier than 3 PM. If you need early check-in, make sure to request it. Bathroom smelled bad. Small beds. No tea/coffee in room.

Location was great, (paid) parking witj direct access to the hotel, small but well-designed. Breakfast good value for the price.

Comfortable bed, good AC in the room, breakfast at 6.30 a.m.

In the morning, the man at the front desk was very impolite, he didn’t even answer my “good morning”.If you would like to leave your bag for a few hours after checking out, please be aware that this hotel does not have luggage storage at the reception. You will be asked to leave your bag in a closet, the door of which is always half open, there are no keys. The worst thing is that this closet is not visible to administrators (they claim there is a camera but I did not see it), which means anyone from the street can come and take your things.I ate a piece of soap together with a cherry tomato in the breakfast room. Saving water is good but not to such extent!!

The buzzer to the parking garage didn’t work, but other than that the property is excellent.

In the hotel, we saw the signs calling for protest in support of the Hamas terrorists. I will not recommend BB hotels in my life, in Spain too. I need explanations. And if not, will send all the pictures I did in the hotel to the German government because we will not tolerate antisemitism.

Clean and comfortable rooms, despite the huge thunderstorm at night, we didn't hear a thing from outside.

The smell near the entrance to the elevator. On each floor, it smelled very unpleasantly near the elevator.

The room is clean and nice, and it has most of the thing I need.

The code can be too long for the door and there are a few times I forgot and have to re-check on the phone. If there's a laundry room that would be great too.

Great location. Modern, comfortable, clean. Free wifi works well and fast.

There are NO, I mean NO frills. No jug. No fridge. To get coffee you need to go out (and places do not open very early) or put coins in a machine at reception that dispenses the worst coffee in the world in a flimsy plastic cup. Bad luck if you like to wake up with a hot drink. There are plenty of cafes around and a supermarket only steps away, but check opening hours.

Great central location, in easy walking-distance to Lahn river and old town. Friendly staff, easy parking, easy check-in and check-out, small but comfortable rooms, great breakfast, good value for money!
