Pros +
- We opted for two bedrooms which was spacious enough to accommodate our family of four adults. Beds were comfortable. Staff always friendly - even provided us with ice for a sprained knee. Easy and secure parking. Amazing breakfast to suit everyone's tastes. Loved the ambience of the building as it was once a boarding school. Good restaurants close by.
- The proximity to cortina , very big and spacious rooms.
- The location was wonderful and views of the Dolomites from our windows were stunning. Breakfast was very good, well-stocked and well-atended.
Cons -
- Could hear street traffic at night. Only one elevator for large complex and it runs slowly - not a concern as stairs are easy to access but if you have mobility issues then could be problematic. Breakfast starts at 7:30 AM which seems late when you want to get up and hike - they do provide a to-go pack but it's not the same quality as in-person breakfast. Front desk is staffed by one person which ends at 11:30PM so not sure what to do if needing to check-in later (with the Olympics coming up, many roads are under construction and closed at night so we almost missed check-in due to road closures). Lastly, hotel is located 15 km south of Cortina which is easy access but Cortina traffic is horrible starting at 9AM so if you want to travel north through Cortina (which we did almost every day), then you'll need to leave early (which again is an issue with breakfast not starting until 7:30).
- The hotel used to be a school , therefore it’s missing a little decoration or arrangements to make it more cozy. Large hallways, large stairwells makes you notice right away that this used to be a school. Breakfast was very mediocre.
- The place could use some TLC (and it does appear it is actually getting a major makeover with a big wing of the property under renovation). It's pretty dated and has seen better days. Check-in time (4pm), I think, is a bit later compared to other similar hotels we considered at the pricepoint. I think adjusting that time, even by just one hour, will make it more convenient for travelers.

The breakfast was very good and scenery around the hotel is very good, very quiet room.
We had a two-bedroom suit, the bathroom was very small, and no hanger/hooks for towels.
Exceptional view of the montains. Clean and confortable rooms. Amazing breakfast
We had a wonderful stay at Park Hotel Des Dolomites! The hotel itself is charming and well-located for exploring the beautiful surrounding mountains. A special mention goes to Nicolò at the reception—he was an outstanding host. From the moment we arrived, he made us feel incredibly welcome and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. His local recommendations were spot on and his warm, professional attitude really elevated our experience. Thank you, Nicolò, for your exceptional hospitality!
Charming building, surrounded by park. Spacious parking. Quiet. Very big room, suitable for families.
I feel some disappointment for this property. There was a "smell" of old building in the room. The bathroom has poor ventilation, although the size of the room allows to make it much better. There is no chair in the room. The breakfast is very basic. One morning we asked simple boiled agg and the staff said that there was no more.
Food was great, staff were ok, parking,
the bathroom,
Great place outside Cortina, lovely historic property,With great staff and wonderful food. Would definitely stay again.
Fantastic brekafast and good location.
Beds and pillows were not the best.
Nice building. Generally clean and basic
Staff at breakfast was rude. No passion for customer service. They treat you like they are doing a favor to you by giving your accommodation and food!
Our stay at TH Borca di Cadore was wonderful. The hotel’s historic building, with its beautiful early 20th-century architecture, really gives the place a unique and elegant atmosphere. It’s amazing to think about all the notable guests who have stayed here over the years — the sense of history adds something special to the whole experience. We enjoyed a large, comfortable room that perfectly combined classic style with modern comforts. Dinner was a highlight too, with a delicious four-course meal featuring local flavors served with great care.In the evenings, the cozy bar was the perfect spot to unwind, surrounded by the hotel’s warm and elegant ambiance. Overall, our two-night stay was truly memorable, and I’d highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a charming and historic base in the Dolomites.
The view from our apartment was stunning, facing the mountain. It was a quiet hotel, and the apartment was pretty large and with a tall ceiling.Clean sheets and towels, diverse breakfast included.
No shampoo is available, just handwash. We called reception, and they offered full body wash on demand. The bed frame did not fit the design of the room, it was what you would expect to find in a student dorm. Dinner is fixed menu, no a-la-carte.The building is a little dated, at least on the exterior. A bit too expensive.
Location and building
The room was tiny without any amenities not even Sampoo and body wash . The beds were for kids !!!
We didn't know that at the moment of booking, but the hotel has a reach history. The building is amazing! You can spend a day walking around and just observe it inside & outside. There are quite many historical pictures available for the visitors. Our room was clean and pretty. The food selection wasn't great, but still OK.
The breakfast situation was quite wild. The way it is organized is just non appropriate for the building. In the off season days only a small part of the restaurant is available for the breakfast. So, you might to wait in a queue for some time. Also, eggs & coffee you order from the gentlemen there which is a little stressful.
Beautiful hotel, the building is so dreamy. It used to be an elite school. The staff was always friendly. The breakfast is nice and simple. The views from the hotel are very nice. They offer breakfast and dinner (however just at 8 pm ?).
No wifi in the rooms. If you decide to stay here, you must know that San Vito di Cadore and Borca di Cadore are very small towns. On Mondays/Tuesdays we were not able to find an open restaurant. If you want more action, stay in Cortina d'Ampezzo or Bolzano.
Great location and fabulous views from our room which was very clean and comfortable.
The staff are super nice, service oriented and warm. Every one of them. They helped us a lot, My wife was sick and they assisted with everything they could, from cooking special food to giving advice on local hospitals etc. Also, the shower was great, the hotel is good looking with comfortable parking.
No wifi in the rooms
It was great. Good price, nice staff, food delicious and more.
I like everything
Big and free parking lot, wonderfull breakfast, great staff (the bartender makes great cocktails).
