    Pros +

    • Is a great manager! She stayed up for our late arrival, was super friendly, gave us great tips, and was a wonderful host. The tiramisu is amazing at the restaurant in the hotel. Best one I've ever had!
    • Kind staff, view from the balcony, sauna and turkish bath were delightful. Breakfast was perfect and all in a very cosy environment.
    • Lovely welcome at this friendly hotel. We had dinner and breakfast both of which were great. The small fitness suite was perfect for me to do my yoga in after a long days walking. Would stay again and highly recommend.

    Cons -

    • Admittitdly the mattresses felt a little old and creaky, but the rooms were super clean and fresh. About the only thing I could complain about, but I still slept A-ok!
    • Nothing to report
    • The breakfast was generally good, with excellent eggs in particular and plenty of fresh fruit and plain yogurt, but there was a preponderance of very sugary things such as cakes, biscuits and pastries, and not enough healthier choices such as unsweetened muesli, for example. The bread could also have been nicer and fresher: some seeded brown rolls, for example, would have been good, rather than just somewhat dry white and brown cut slices.

The staff were extremely nice and helpful, letting me change my room as my sleep was disturbed on the first night by the sound of the central heating system since a major duct of the system ran through my room. The room I was moved to was much better.

The breakfast was generally good, with excellent eggs in particular and plenty of fresh fruit and plain yogurt, but there was a preponderance of very sugary things such as cakes, biscuits and pastries, and not enough healthier choices such as unsweetened muesli, for example. The bread could also have been nicer and fresher: some seeded brown rolls, for example, would have been good, rather than just somewhat dry white and brown cut slices.

Breakfast was exceptional! Staff were extremely helpful when we had car trouble and just very friendly in general. The hotel had a cosy, family hotel atmosphere, very personal.

The walls seemed to be quite thin, so at night you could hear a lot of sounds of neighboring rooms etc. But that was kind of part of the charm of this lovely family hotel.

A gem of a spot in Gressony St. Jean!! Cozy, comfy rooms in a stunning spot, including a most generous, delicious breakfast. We also had a tasty dinner at the hotel as well as eating in the owners' other restaurant in town..Bierfall.. great casual atmosphere, beer and and food!!Aside from the stunning setting of this spot, possibly most memorable about our stay was the warmth and hospitality of the owners... Sylvia, her husband & staff. Super fun and engaging, could not do enough for us. We will remember this one. A highlight of our trip in the alps!

View from the balcony is totally awesome and beautiful. Room is fine, bed also. Clean, looks good. Hotel looks authentic, that's really interesting.

Heater didn't work, they didn't turn on hot water for it. So i couldn't open the balcony for a long time. No bath, breakfast is okay but could be better. No refrigerator.

Very friendly staffs, good location, clean rooms.

No coffee or tea making facility in the room. WiFi very weak. Breakfast very basic.

amazing cozy atmosphere, amazingly friendly staff and wonderful location.

Not very close to the center of Gressoney, but the location is quiet and nice. The size of the room was very big, beds were of good quality, blinds on the windows were OK. The breakfast was good and plenty, the restaurant for dinner was good as well. The staff was very nice, this is a family run hotel.

The room and the bathroom are outdated, they need refurbishment. The towels were not dirty but were stinking, that kind of sour smell that I have found also in other hotels. I do not know how they wash them, but there is definitely something wrong there. The room was not very cold, but unpleasantly chilly. Heating was on only a couple of hours during the evening.

The views, the restaurant. Breakfast was good.

Rooms were a bit cold at night. We had to ask for some heat which would not stay on all night.

    breakfast was ok

restaurant was closed when they said it would be open. had to walk 1km to eat. single duvet on double bed just doesn’t work!bathroom so small I could hardly get in

A very warm and classic wood chalet with tasteful details

Unfortunately the walls are very thin therefore the acoustic is very poor and overall the hotel is very noisy (especially if in the room next door there are children…)

Historic Hotel, quite simple but very comfortable and well located. Staff is super friendly and helpful.
