- The views and staff
- I liked the location, pools and food at the restaurant. The girl at the reception was super nice and helpful: they are lucky to have her ❤️. She possessed impeccable customer service skills which, unfortunately, I've found in a limited supply in many places we visited in Italy.
- Friendly staff and fantastic (steak) restaurant. Location is on hill side and a bit challenging navigation on narrow and winding roads
Cons -
- For elderly might struggle with the steepness
- Rather cramped space, but we're seasoned tourists, we've seen worse.
- Would be nice to have some hooks for towels in bathroom.

It's a set of separate houses and it's nice that it has some space around the apartment with a cozy terrace where you can enjoy your lunch or dinner. The apartment was more or less clean. It has more or less enough space for 4 people, but a bit packed to be honest. The access to the pool is a very nice bonus to this property. Inside a minimal set of equipment is provided and bed sheets and towels were replaced with some regularity. The stuff was more or less responsive to the requests, especially when I asked to repair the door handle to the apartment. Having a restaurant on the territory of property was convenient (but not cheap). There is a lot of parking space on-site if you come by car.The air conditioning is really a life saver and it's great they installed it on both floors.Local food in the neighbourhood can be cheap and delicious. So if you have car you can find really nice places.
Quite pricy for the value you get.The equipment in the apartment is really really minimal, barely to achieve basic needs. The building itself is a bit oldish. When we checked in our door handle was practically falling off the door. The expandable bed on the first floor was malfunctioning and breaking from time to time. It was also not the most comfortable bed. The bed on the second floor was good.Multiple apartments nearby were either in construction state or looked like abandoned, which creates an unpleasant impression of the space. We came by car. The roads in Italy are bad, the drivers are rude and dangerous. The access to this property is annoying - dangerously narrow passages, high tilts, angry drivers. The access to this specific apartment on the territory of property by car was very inconvenient. I ended up leaving the car on the parking near the entrance most of the time and only drove to the apartment to unload the luggage and load it back on checkout - very steep, very narrow and very hard to catch a spot for parking. It's even hard to find space to turn the car around safely on this path. The restaurant is good in terms of quality of food, but very pricy and mostly hosts locals coming from around and staying till late night making a lot of noise. Almost looked like local mobs gathering. We were non useful crowd for the restaurant stuff which was visible in their attitude.Getting to the sea takes at least 15 minutes by car to the nearest public beach on horrible roads. More than 90% of the beaches in this area (look at Google Maps satellite images) are private and want you to pay for the umbrella and seat/sun bed (often really crazy prices). You are not allowed to enter there. The are couple of tiny public ones but crowded and practically no infrastructure comes with them. Quite some jelly fish in the water and some weird algae that leaves burns. Sea is not very clean due to type of sand (not comparable to Spain or France).
Really enjoyed the restaurant at the resort, it was really good. The cottage was nice, the bed was comfortable and clean. It was great place to stay for one night.
The shower could use new shower head. ?
Food was amazing!Location was great too, swimming outside with plenty of spaces to sunbathe. Views is stunning and staff very friendly
The property wasGreat value the pool made the experience even better. The restaurant was amazing and convenient.
The drive to the location was a little far out of the way in very narrow streets
Perfect location with an amazing view, swimming pool, good spot to visit the surroundings.
The restaurant is very good, the swimming pool is nice
The bungalows
The location and the views were incredible.
The kitchenette was poorly stocked, with tiny glasses and no wine glasses. We also had an ant infestation, which was ok as long as made sure that no food was left out.
Pool was nice. bungalows are nice but very cramped downstairs: if you use them as advertised, meaning four beds, you need the sofa bed downstairs, but when open you cant then open the front door!
We had a meal in the restaurant. First: truly great food. But the staff were very brusque and we felt very pushed when ordering. They weren't interested in us. There was also a party at the pool, meaning the restaurant full of guests paying large bills we forced to listen to the incredibly loud dance music coming from the pool beside us, which had just a handful of people at any time. Management really need to look at where the priorities are.
Lovely place and staff were helpful
A little shop with a few essentials e.g shampoo and milk would have made travelling with a family abit easier.
Stunning location and amazing views. Great facilities. Kids loved playing in the pool whilst parents loved sipping a cocktail and relaxing under the sun!
The overall experience for the plac is ok cause some of the things were missing but they mentioned in the description, as far as the value for money I would say it's expensive in this price and important thing not recommended if you don't own a car.
Staff was very kind when we arrived and leftLocation is very good to travel around the Spezia areaRestaurant linked to the Hotel is very goodHouse was quiet and comfortable
Parking area is small / very narrow passages
The restaurant was great. Big swimming pool with great vies
Is far away from everything. If you don’t have a car only options are getting a taxi or walk 30 minutes to the next bus stop with very few buses running during the day. Staff doesn’t speak English but they try to communicate at their best
The entire place, totally different from other option around the area. I will recommend this place if you like camping style with your private shower and toilet
To much noise due to weddings
We enjoyed our stay at Ippotur in June a lot and truly recommend it. The pool area is fantastic, the staff very friendly and the food at the bar excellent. The cottage we booked was small, but newly renovated and combined with the terrasse and pool area everything you need for an amazing summer vacation. The kitchen also offers everything you need to cook, if you want to eat in (we recommend to bring a French press with you, however there's an Espresso maker in the kitchen). Just some small details could make the cottage even better, f.e. a shelf in the kitchen or a bedside table next to beds on the ground floor. Do not hesitate to contact the stuff, if you have a problem or need fresh towels f.e., they'll help you. The Ippotur is up in the hills, you need a car. There are some great beaches about 30 minutes away (use public ones), to the supermarket and a pharmacy it's a ~8 minute drive. You can also visit many interesting spots in the area and there are many good restaurants.
The housekeeping could be a bit better, f.e. the restroom by the pool should be cleaned more often during the day. And although the bathroom of our cottage was new, there were already signs of mould due to a lack of propper cleaning. But the team seems to be rather new and we're sure it's just routine missing.
Nice location.
Staff doesn't speak English. They think it is not necessary that the same group / family under one reservation should be close to each other, it is not logical to them. They expect the guest to know the place in details, like layout and category. No map is given. The houses were a bit dirty (fridge, glasses) and stinky (damp). This place is more for kids for summer vacation. For same money you can get much better around. The place is worse in reality than on the photos.
We rented the luxury suite. The view was amazing, the suite was big and confortable
