The staff was incredibly helpful and kind, breakfast was great, the location is fantastic. The hills of Barbaresco are on full display here.In particular, Mersa (forgive me if the spelling is wrong) made us feel as if we were part of the family.

Very nice small hotel in very good location. Barbaresco village only 5 min drive. Beautiful views on hills. Suite rooms are great with small pool on the roof terrace. 2 good restaurants in there and many nearby. Very friendly staff. Good wifi.

A well equipped apartment in lovely spot. Very good breakfast with a range of products to choose from and a super restaurant with beautiful views over the valley to Barbaresco. The swimming pool is a great place to relax on a hot day.

The restaurant is getting renovated and builders make a fair amount of noise. It is necessary though, and when it’s done it’ll be incredible.

Check in process was very rushed with no welcome information about the place. Had to ask 3 times to get the air conditioning working. the aircon is really noisy so if you are a light sleeper then you will find this an issue. The rooms with views have fantastic views! however no privacy as people from the restaurant can see straight up. We had the curtains closed all the time which was very disappointing. The swimming pool is large & has great vistas but to get to it you have to walk past the smelly waste recycling tent via the hot bitumen car park. Guests aren’t allowed to drink or eat in the pool area & the hotel is not close to any bars. We came a long way to get to Piemonte (Australia) hence we were expecting to be able to lounge by the pool & have some cocktails given the heat. In short Casa Nicolini is a confusing experience. They definitely spend more effort on pleasing the restaurant patrons which probably brings in the $$$, instead of providing a professional experience for hotel guests. Btw their restaurant has exceptional food & service. We had 2 dinners during our stay of 3 nights.

The view on the wine yard is stunning. Most of the employees are very friendly. The restaurant offers very good dishes.

The hotel layout is a bit simple around the swimming pool and in the rooms but it is comfortable and clean

The water in the swimming pool above our suite was a bit too cold for my wife's liking.

The best part of the stay is the breakfast.The view is wonderful and the service is very good.There is a good choice in products, most of them are coming from the area.

breakfast was great and with beatiful scenery from breakfast room with possibility to enjoy breakfast also on terazze. Very friendly staff, helpful and kind. rooms great with big bathroom, and we had nice balcony, friends with garden access. location is very good with quick access all around. also very nice restaurant close by Osteria tasTe and also close by Winery Montaribaldi.

restaurant attached was a slight dissapointment. very friendly and professional service but dinner there was not fulfilling high expectations and comparison to others. although was not bad, but pool was not open yet in April.

Amazing location and breathtaking views. In the heart of the Piedmonte. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Wonderful breakfast with fresh juices, local hazelnut cake etc. The restaurant on site is also very good, with possibility for coffee on the lawn after your meal. Spacious room, which got cleaned every day.

The pool and hot tub weren´t open, even though the small print on Booking.com said it would be open as of April 1st.The room was located on a driveway, so no real outdoor space / view / possibility to leave the curtains or windows open.

Great location next to plenty of great wineries. The views were amazing. We arrived past the check in time due to our flight getting delayed but the staff was more than accomodating. I loved that our rooms had a rustic/country feel. Definitely coming back!
