The staff are charming but also very professional, you feel very welcome even though there's not much choice for breakfast, their coffee and eggs are excellent. At the end of our trip, our dog and son didn't want to leave. Big thank you to all the staff.

The location was beautiful, although still not as green being only February, the area still gives the vibe of a wine area and is very peaceful due to its secludedness.

The location in the vineyard. The fact that the location was new and well furnished. The staff at the reception was very kind and quick. No waiting time in checking in and checking out

The breakfast area mixed with the wine shop location. The staff at the breakfast has let us wait 15 minutes before getting us a cappuccino

The hotel is on a famous barolo wine producer estate. the service was impecable from reveprion to the fantadtic lady emily im the restaurant. there us a fantastic hilly walk through the woodland and vineyard and the wine tasting tour is well worth doing. i was able to use the spa for 50veuros which is an excusive ecpetience and worth doing. the views from the pool are worth it on their own..Stay here if you can

    nothing a perfect resort

    It was in the vineyard

Even though the rooms looked clean I woke up to my arms covered in bedbug bites!!

Guido restaurant in the hotel is exceptional, the food and service was excellent.Staff in the hotel was helpful.Hotel grounds were beautiful.

Never been in a hotel where they only provide 1 bottle of complimentary water especially when there are 2 guests.Unless you have a car, there is no hotel shuttle bus or transfer service to bring you from the nearest town.

    Location,

Machinery noise from the next building as well as the sewer treatment facilities.I didn't like being told I needed a reservation for dinner. One night it was literally empty and the guy still asked if I had a reservation.

unique historic property with modern bedroom and faculties. overall a lovely combination. casual restaurant was exceptional. we need to come back to enjoy the other one.

    bed mattress not particularly comfortable

    9CamillePosted on: 4-10-2023

We enjoyed the environment, kindness of the staff and the history of the place. The room at Le Case dei Conti Mirafiore were spacious and well decorated, the mattress a little too hard but overall great. Breakfast was good, with options to order directly such a eggs, bacon etc.

Our general impression is that the hotel has unfortunately lost some of its authenticity (with the exception of Guido Ristorante) with the development of tourism activities (e.g., wine shop etc)

What an amazing place! A beautiful hotel, with modern finishes, great food and centrally located in the Barolo wine area. The hotel is part of a small village with a lot of history and with a working winery. The wine shop sells many of the area's wines and you can request to taste most of them. The Disguido Osteria restaurant's food and service is top quality and the breakfast is great. The property on which the hotel is located is beautiful with many walking paths in the woods and between the historical buildings. We went for a truffle hunt in the woods on the property - what an amazing experience! Cellar is beautiful and the wine top quality. The reception staff was very helpful in booking day trips for us to wineries and restaurants and they also organised transport for us. The Guido restaurant is next level. Setting, quality of food and service is amazing. The wine pairing with the chefs menu was excellent. We travelled with 2 small kids and the hotel accommodated all our needs and made it very easy for us to have a comfortable stay.

There was no concierge to assist with taking our luggage to and from our rooms. After a long day of travelling, this would've helped a lot, especially because we were a family of 5 travelling with a lot of luggage. Our room wasn't cleaned on 2 of the days because our baby was sleeping in the room when the cleaning staff came past. When we requested a room turn around from reception staff at around 2pm, we were told that the cleaning staff had already left for the day. Other than that, our stay was excellent and we would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to experience this wonderful area.

Breakfast was great, the room was lovely, especially the lighting, bathroom and magnificent views. The vineyard walk was perfect, the shop good and the Guido Ristorante lovely.

The staff were incredibly nice and thoughtful, the food was exquisite, the Michelin star restaurant as well as the hotel restaurant. We loved our stay.

    9LindaPosted on: 2-6-2023

Beautiful location - exceptional staff, everyone was friendly, spoke good english and so enthusiastic about the wine region. We had an issue with our room and they worked hard to resolve the issue and kindly gave us a glass of wine whilst we waited. The wine tour was very interesting and the gentleman who took us for the tasting was so knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The ladies on reception kindly booked restaurants for us.

strange musty smell in the bedroom like mothballs

located at the Fontanafreddo Vinery- good cafe and breakfast in the morning- fresh cut salami and ham, local cheese.Room was very quiet- first floor, cosy atmosphere.Easy and safe parking - in front of Hotel-

View out of window is towards the vinery- so, depending on needs- for a business trip perfect-
