Settecento Hotel

it is a nice boutique hotel, interesting layout and descent rooms. The decor is nice as well and they have parking in the facility which helps a lot.

Unfortunately, I need to rate this hotel with a 1 because the Wi-Fi did not work. We were there for business and even that we talked with the front desk we were ignored.

It was cold in the room and at the bar down at the reception! They didn’t provide any help about it! Rooms are little old !They didn’t provide umbrella, they said we have only for sales !

The appearance of the hotel was modern.

Main restuarant was closed for the duration of our stay, we were not made aware of this at any point either at time of booking or on their website. Indoor bar not open for duration of stay. Only place to get a drink or a lite bite was at the poolside bar. This was semi operational, closed on various occasions with no notice. We had to ask for someone to open this so we could get a drink one afternoon whilst the children used the pool. This was not met well by the staff member. No towels were available at this point & we had to insist for some to be brought to us as this was stated as being available. First evening there when we went to the pool bar for a drink, all tables were riddled with ants, leaving only a lounger to sit on. Came back from a day out at 8pm where we wanted to get the children something to eat by the pool but the bar decided it was not serving food that evening, despite not making guests aware. We therefore had to eat peanuts and crisps in the room for the childrens dinner as the family was too tired to venture back out. We have since complained to the hotel, only to recevie an initial response that because we spent 100 euro (across 5 individuals) at the bar on some drinks over our stay, it proved we enjoyed their facilities. Not a satisfactory reply & we are still seeking a form of compensation for our stay.

Nothing I can think of!

1. It is nice and clean, and the cleaning personel are very good and do a great work! We did not find bedbugs or cockroaches.2. Right next door to the hotel, you have a local supermarked. You can go there and get a better breakfast then the one the hotel offers, for less than 4 euro. The hotels breakfast costs 15 euro.

1. Loud parties outside until midnight. We were unvilling passive participant of parties in the garden by the pool. Parties for people from outside the hotel (not guests). It sounded like great fun, with loud music played by a Dj until midnight. This was not a thing the hotel informed us about, not before or during our stay.2. The rooms are not silent or soundproff as they write. When people talk (normal voices) outside your door, you can hear everything they say.3. Baby swim lessons 5 out of The 8 days at the pool (not for guests of the hotel). The pool was booked for 45 minutes, but the babys and their moms and dads where occupying the pool areas from 9.00 to 12 o'clock. There where about 8 babies with moms and dads in the pool and the areas surrounding the pool. Babies crying, moms and dads singing babysongs, just a lot of noice. Not at all the quite place they advertised.4. Health hasard due to not proper cleaning of the pool after baby swim lessons.5. The sunbeds around the pool are normally prebooked by guests from outside, and therefore cannot be used by guests of the hotel. If you use a spare sunbed (that is not reserved), the hotel will try to get you to pay for using the spare sunbeds when you leave the hotel. Even though it is clearly listed in the documents, that sunbeds are not an extra expense. Only booking or reserving sunbeds cost extra 5 euros pr sunbed you book. If they change that, then remember to put an extra 5 euros pr day pr person on top of what you are paying for the hotel.6. When we reached out to the reception, they where very impolite and said that that was how it was and we just had to live with the noice from the parties and baby swin lessons.When we asked if we could cancel the rest of our stay and find another hotel. They replied that they would not refund us what we had paid for the not used days. It was clear that they just wanted our money and not happy guests.7. Rent a car. The hotel is far away from everything.

Comfortable beds, nice ambiance

Breakfast. Stayed for 6 days and there was no variety, every day was the same. For 15 euro per person I was dissapointed.

As we had just got engaged the staff upgraded our room for free which was super lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Handy for the train station with just a 15/20 minute walk (taxi's are limited) and big supermarket just next door. Nice pool area and very clean.

We were unaware that we had to reserve sun loungers by the pool and that there was a ¢10 fee for this. The main restaurant and indoor pool weren't open due to it being summer season but the pool bar also didn't serve food till late which meant after we had been out later one day there was no food available for dinner (9pm) and no nearby restaurants.

Outdoor pool area was lovely and the room was nice and clean

Breakfast was good though it was not apparent when we booked room that it was not included in the price. Location off Bergamo ring road was convenient.

Leaving after hours was an adventure. We left at 5:00 AM. There was no one at front desk and front door was locked. We had to go out the back door through the parking lot to get to front gate, which took a while to open. Clear instructions on how to get out after hours would help.

Original mixture between classic and modern. Good breakfast. Staff very nice.

From my room I could hear the elevator. Quality is good but I think is expensive for what it is.In the pictures it seems the hotel is in the countryside but it really has many residence buildings around and the road next.If you want to connect the wifi it has to be through Facebook.

Really nice breakfast .The only thing less positive was the caffe: powder caffe.Nice staff.Very well decorated .

Beautiful hotel and the staff in the lobby were so great and helpful. Everything was clean and comfortable.

The swimming pool closed on sunday around 14:30 because of a private party, there was no notice about that. For an example it would have been good to put an announcement in the elevator the day before so people would know. We had planned to relax by the pool after á busy morning so we were really disappointed. Otherwise we loved it.

Nice restaurant with great atmosphereinteresting hoteldesign

heavy noise during a party one evening, so it was unpossible to sleep till 1:30 in the morning.so we only can recommend it during the week for business-stay, never on weekends or you ask the service, if there is an event.The surrounding is more like a commercial area

Everything was good

I called to hotel in the morning of arrival and asked permission come 1 hour earlier than check in time and manager told me no problem you can receive rooms before but really we waited in lobby for 40 minutes receive rooms ( they suggested coffee for us )

Very beautiful art and the building itself, in a nice neighborhood, very helpful and kind receptionists. Would love to stay there again.

Very high prices for the taxi and the public transportation doesn’t go there if you arrive too late.
