Pros +
- A beautiful hotel nestled in the ribbons of the Italian Alps. Nature at every turn, with flocks of deer running through. The room was clean, roomy, with windows looking out to the Italian Alps. The terrace was lovely and allowed us to relax outside with a bottle of wine. Breakfast is provided each day by the amazing Italian staff. They were polite and made our stay extremely comfortable. Stunning location.
- Spotless everywhere. Very comfortable room, good shower, decent breakfast - morning staff, friendly and helpful. I can imagine this hotel would be lovely in the summer, with the view and the situation of the pool.
- Really good location for our family. Nice rooms and staff. Great grounds and pool.
Cons -
- You can take the bus to get around & down to larger towns, Tremezzo + Menaggio, etc. But a car is helpful, and recommended, if you like to stay out later than the buses run. We rented a manual car for 3 days, under $100 per day. It helped a ton and allowed us to go where ever we pleased. Parking can be a hassle but you'll find your way.
- Arrived at 4.30 pm, as arranged, but this was like a ghost hotel, with no one there, just a note and a key. The hotel presumably remained unlocked all night. We'd travelled a long way, many hundreds of miles, and didn't particularly want to go out. but were unable to even get a cup of tea or coffee in the absence of either staff or facilities in the rooms - I had a quick look in the kitchen, as we had some coffee with us, but no kettle or useable pot to boil water. I think if the hotel goes for a self check in like this out of season, there should at least be access to a coffee machine or facilities in the rooms.
- So rooms no ac. Knew that at time of rental.

Very nice location overlooking the mountains. Super quiet, clean nice pool super peaceful.
Location, pool, room
Clean and comfortable bed
The apartment didn’t match the description or photos—there was no Mountain View, no kitchen appliances, and the coffee machine was dirty with no capsules. Basic kitchen essentials like salt, dishwashing liquid, and cooking utensils were also missing, which made the stay less convenient.
We had a great time at Corte Santa Hotel. Very clean and cosy room. The host is very reliable, friendly, and helpful ? she recommended us a few places to have dinner at, and so we had a fantastic evening with local food and great wine.
Nice place and comfortable room.
Too noisy staff, especially in the morning.
Lady responsible for our reservation was amazing. She wroked very fast and supports all Guests. Good Job! Hotel is very nice. Breakfasts very good. Coffe is perfect.
All was fine
A very friendly stuff. I came a bit later, couse was a bit lost in the way and a lady came to open it for me. Nice large room, big terrace with a nice view. Overall a great location for those, who likes authentic mountain villages
Service was amazing, the room was super comfortable and beautiful, and there was a balcony with an amazing view of mountains and clouds.
Everything was perfect
Really nice brand new rooms and facilities
Just the location of the food on the shelf for the brwakfast, a bit awkward.
I can’t say enough about the place People was great breakfast fantastic Room was very clean Would stay there again no problem
receptionist very friendly, room big, amazing views.
was building work going on, right outside our window, which we wasnt informed about.
Very nice view. Great value for money. Tasty breakfast.
No veggies by breakfast.
Very clean and cozy room with a superb panoramic view of the hillsides. Bed and pillows were very comfortable and made for restful sleep.Check in instructions were provided in writing and was clear and helpful. Room is equipped with a fridge, a safe and ample closet space. Breakfast was decent and parking was free.
Weak WiFi. Bidet was not a good system and uncomfortable to use. Shower was awkward due to low ceiling and located in a small tub with no protection glass.
Breakfast was simple and good. The view is amazing. Near city center.
Very pretty and with lovely garden and pool
No restaurant for evening meal
Location In a mountain village?. Friendly service?. Great mountain views?. Everything was clean?. Free parking?.

We liked everything. For the price we did not expect to have such a nice, clean and comfortable room, a well maintained pool, and good quality breakfast. Staff was very helpful and friendly. We rated the location highly because it is up on the green hills between lakes Lugano and Como, both reachable in 10 to 15 minutes by car.
Nothing the hotel can do anything about but be careful with the car navigator, it led us into a very narrow alley and managed to get out just because we had a small car. The hotel is easily reachable via main roads, the navigator for some reason got it wrong.
