Hotel Ristorante Sassi Rossi

The location is beatiful, the food is very tasty and staff very welcoming.

Very friendly staff, waited for us even after late checking in time as we were lost.

The room was great but not fully clean.

I had a great stay at the hotel. The room was good and the food was nice. I also appreciate how helpful staff were, since they helped me resolve a parking problem at another municipality.The location is nice to visit nearby mountains. There are several hiking spots not far, accessible by car or motorcycle. The towns at the lake coast are also easily accessible.

Address is not findable by google maps, it takes you 500-700 meters away from the actual location, I was saved because I saw the board on the way and I turned back.

I loved waking up to the dawn chorus- incredible birdsong! Also the cat was a welcome addition!

The breakfast was ok but not great- too much cakes/ biscuits/ sweet stuff. Could’ve done with more fresh fruit, yogurt and good bread.

It was awsome.except the bed was not super comfy. Everythime my dad was moving, I was springing on the other side of the bed.And need more pillows, we brought our ownThe terrace view was crazy, sun straight in the face for hours ?

No cuttle in the room ?

Spacious room and plenty of free parking. The restaurant was excellent as was the included breakfast. Beautiful views from your own private balcony. Great hotel for travellers with cars/bikes, nice road up to it from the lake!

Rooms can be a little noisy from passing cars and rowdy football teams! The road noise is not constant though.

I had a very pleasant stay. The garden is wonderful to sit outside and the room is clean and nice and comes with a balcony or terrace. Also perfect to sit outside in the evening or dry your running clothes. I had a room facing the street so it was a bit noisy from the traffic especially in the morning. There are also rooms on the back of the building with should be more quiet. The breakfast is nothing fancy, but there is definitly enough stuff to choose from. Coffee for breakfast is do it yourself from a fully automatic coffee mashine which is the only thing I did not like. I missed a good italian cappucino from a portafilter machine in the morning. But the automatic one was still all right. Can recommend this hotel for a couple of days when passing through.

Beautiful location, great selection of restaurants, quiet at night. And if you like honey: ask at the reception a glass of a local honey, it’s very tasty.

This hotel was a gamble, approx. 40 minutes of our travel along Lake Como to get to Lichtenstein, but the drive there was fabulous. Proper bendy country roads straight up in the mountains. There is not much to do around, but the dinner in the restaurant was very reasonable priced and it was a lovely steak. The view around the hotel is spectacular, rooms have been recently decorated/refurbished ( need a couple of covings, but but ).I woke up early next morning with Deer grassing on the field just outside my room :-)

Parking, they don't have a big car park

Our room, with a balcony was excellent. The onsite restaurant was excellent. All staff we encountered were pleasant, friendly and helpful. The lift was a great bonus for my elderly parents. We found it easier at times to use the stairs. My parents had access to the large balcony on the 2nd floor, so my family of 8 gathered there in the evening and enjoyed the magnificent view. We loved our stay.

Lack of real milk for cereal, but that's a cultural issue and not a problem.

It was not enjoyable at all. Avoid!

Torn sheets, loud neighbours, broken sink, mold on ceiling!

Beautiful views.Free nibbles with a well deserved beer.Lovely hotel, not luxury but lovely nonetheless.

Coziness, family hotel vibe, it was pretty clean and the beds were ok. Balcony included.

The breakfast had limited choice, and it was not refilled not even once during the breakfast stay.

A nice property with a garden and play area for children. The in house restaurant is good!

Disappointing

No backed bread. Lots of industrial toast, biscuits. No local salami, meats, ...for the breakfast. It's a hotel in the mountain, in a rural region, should have a big pallet of regional and local products.

What we like was personable staff, great restaurant and house food was the freshest I have ever tasted. Beautiful settings and surroundings. They really went above and beyond to accommodate us - they fed us on their day off when they were closed.

We did not like leaving them ?.

Hotel is run by family, stuff friendly and helpful. Very peaceful atmosphere, dont know how to say, but we felt like at home not like in hotel.
