This family-run, 4-star hotel is located close to Schmallenberg in the Rothaargebirge nature park. It offers elegant rooms, an indoor swimming pool and a large breakfast buffet. All of the rooms at the Hotel Jagdhaus Wiese include a modern bathroom and satellite TV. Wi-Fi can also be booked. The Jagdhaus Wiese provides a breakfast buffet each morning. Pros +
- I booked late and arrived late after a 14km hike! The kitchen was already closed, but they still made me a light meal! Ibwas only there for one night, but everything looked so good and the people were very helpful! The breakfast was very good, but as i've been to many hotels, the breakfast was standard for that kind of pricerange, so that's still excelent but not different. It might be because i chose the stirred eggs and bacon with herbs mixed in(so not very local). The outside was very nice and clean! Eventough they(landscapers) were working outside my window i only noticed when i opened the windows. So even for a short stay this was worth the max amount of stars!
- Room was very clean and spacious (even single room). It is better than photos that i saw. The place around hotel was beautiful. Taste of dinner was great. People in reception, restaurant..are all very very kind. I really really like this place and want to stay more if possbile.
- Location was great… the spa was nice.

- A bell at the lobby would be nice as i had to wait before i could check in. My curiousity brought me to the manager i think(from photo's), who helped me further.
- The only thing that i want is..English menu for dinner and breakfast. It is difficult to understand German to me. :)

Spacious rooms, ideal for families. Super clean. Amazing kitchen. Our favorite hotel in Sauerland.
The breakfast and the dinner were very good. To swim in the pool it was necessary to make a date, so that never were more than 12 persons around.
To have the possibility to select the location of the room.
