Hotel Wilhelmina

Huge room. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. VERY close to the city center. Parking in the back. Good quality for the price. Very close to the station if you’re coming with bus/train.

Tiny minus for lack of the kettle in the room (I didn’t look if it were in the description but we sorta assumed it would be) but the staff let us use the hot water downstairs any time of the night.

When I read another comments,I was a little confused. But the room, facilities and another things was good enough. Standarts of the hotel is much more higher than,the amount you pay.

I am a animal lover and I really like to spend time with the animals...however I am not agree to allow the pets and animals inside of the hotel and rooms.

The bathroom was simple, but sufficient. The breakfast was basic, but good. The front of house staff was friendly, and really helpful.

It was pretty clear that the hotel, and its amenities, need some major updates and renovations. The hotel feels like it's stuck in the 70s. Whilst it was an alright option for my stay, as I just needed a bed to sleep in, and the option to have a shower, it's hard to deny that Wilhelmina cannot really compete with other hotels in the area. At the very least it's in dire need of a lick of paint, new carpets, improved shower pressure, a review of the interior design, etc.

The breakfast is delicious, the beds are comfy and the room is cozy.

Very old fashioned hotel

The hotel is very worn out and in need of renovation. It should have been done about 20 years ago, but it was simply forgotten.

The location was perfect, just steps from the city center and across the street from the train station. Private parking on site. Our small dog was welcome. Breakfast was OK. Room was quiet.

The rooms need a massive upgrade. It's incredibly dated. The hallway is disgusting, inside the walls and floors should be completely renovated. Very old. Breakfast was fine, but wasn't restocked well. Coffee machine was pretty bad.

Hotel was very nicely close to the centre, the train station and germany. Hotel also has an option to charge the car what was very important.

When we got into our room it was very cold. The heating was not on. But we could turn it up ourselves.

Amazing sevice iloved the fact that when the receptionist told me the breakfast time and itold him im checking out at 4:00 am he reply we can pack a breakfast box for you ireally liked that touch hl.. the hotel was very clean in a very strategic location just infront of the treinstation ?

The bacon, the scrambled and boiled eggs, assorted tea, unlimited coffee and juices. Salads, sausages, etc.the staff were friendly, courteous and respectful!

The room is smaller than I’m used to in the States. But was very clean, warm and cozy. The staff spoke English, and were friendly and respectful! Will definitely stay at the Hotel Wilhelmina the next time I’m in Venlo.

Small shower cubical

Lovely welcome, decent hotel room and great breakfast. A bit warm overnight but fans had already been placed in the room. Spacious room and bathroom (3 person). Would have loved to eat at the restaurant (we had other plans) but great that there was a bar there!

Downstairs room meant that we didn't open the windows at night, otherwise fine!

The staff was kind.

I asked for a quiet room, but I received a room with a street view, without air conditioning. In one night I had people under my window drinking and talking very loudly until 1.30 am. The breakfast was quite poor. Vegans don't have much choice.

Close to station

Shabby old fashioned room, wall paint loose, door repaired poorly, loose shower gear, mould in the shower cabin and noisy plumbing when other rooms took a shower. And a poor breakfast on top. Skip.

Lovely old hotel, directly opposite the station, walking distance from the city centre. Some of the rooms are huge! The food is absolutely excellent although it may be a bit more expensive than prices at lower quality restaurants. Parking around the back.
