A very pleasant hotel! The breakfasts include everything you need, the room itself is clean and spacious, the bathroom is clean with everything you need. The staff greeted us very positively, despite the fact that we arrived very late.

We had a pleasant stay for two nights. The room was clean and comfortable. The high-end toiletries were supplied. I like it a lot.

The heater didn't work in the beginning but after I called the reception, the switch was turned on. Our electric tool brush was not charged overnight. My wife wondered if the outlets were off during the night.

What was not to like? You arrive at the hotel, with a big parking north next to it. Check in is fast. The rooms are big and have airconditioning and windows overlooking the Meuse (Maas). There is an elevator, for the few stairs too.Along the hotel on the riverside is a terrace where they serve excellent brasserie or a la carte. Both stand out. Try the croquet extravaganza! All are handmade from the kitchen. You will delighted.Breakfast is served personally. The chef presents everything on the table and asks how you want your eggs. No lines, and no waste. The tables are wide spread and you are in a beautiful room with art. There is a special breakfast too.The chef wrote a beautiful book on asparagus, Limburg's pride veggie, which you can buy for a fair price. I had our copy signed. Staff in general is delightful. They know their business to serve in a friendly way and that is a revelation!

We did spend there 3 nights, around this 15/08, for business; and it was just splendid and grogeous.Staff is amazingly at his place and there when needed. The food and wines were of high standards. The Hotel as well as around and sauna/ gym were very clean.A very good quality/ price for such an excellence. Thanks

clean, well stocked rooms. Fast service and cozy feel.

Most of the focus is on the restaurant and dining. Wouldn’t recommend only staying one night since the location is a little far from town and pretty car dependent

Super location on the river and easy walk into Venlo. Bath robe, slippers and toiletries all added to the luxury feel. Staff always cheerful, welcoming and friendly.

Nothing. Sound travels, noise of water if another room using shower.

Super location overlooking the R Maas, 5 minute walk along river into Venlo. Superior rooms overlooking the river are huge with large white marble tiled shower rooms. Comfort rooms smaller, no view but still bigger than most hotel rooms.Take a travel kettle if you like a morning cuppa, only a coffee machine in room. Excellent Michelin star restaurant, but naturally not cheap! We treated ourselves one night, but the restaurants of Venlo are only a 5 minute walk away. Lovely big terrace to watch the boats go by. Staff very friendly, professional and eager to please. Plenty of parking, cctv.

Nothing really. Maybe the brasserie could be open in the evenings serving food.

Staff are exceptional, can’t do enough to make the stay as good as possible, wonderful food presented with style and flair. Rooms are spacious, well appointed and comfortable. Public spaces are stylish and elegant, lovely terrace with great outlook. Just a fabulous place to stay. This was my second visit and the hotel is definitely my go-to choice when visiting that general area and it is worth a special trip just to stay there.

Can’t think of a single thing

    Nothing everything was excellent

This is THE perfect small hotel. Great location on the banks of the Meuse. Excellent rooms, spotless. Wonderful staff, all of them, friendly, welcoming and at the same time highly professional. A genuinely good restaurant - somewhere you'd go out of your way to eat if you weren't staying there. And the best hotel breakfast in living memory (and I'm someone who did a lot of business travel for over 40 years.) All the rave reviews are justified. And it's a good wine merchant too! This place is owned and run by people who really care about making your stay a great experience. Definitely one to return to whenever there is an opportunity.

    There was nothing to criticise

Dinner was excellent, the room was very good and appreciate the gym

The hotel was closed when we arrived in the early afternoon

The location is good , close to the center

Am old renovated building, which would supposedly be ok, but, because of the thin windows you get every noise from outside, including the wing noise and cold .

    1MarcinPosted on: 10-29-2023

    Nothing!

It’s not a 5 star hotel! One reception for restaurant and hotel - took ages just to get the key (after 10 hour drive). They force you to eat from their restaurant - but there was no available table… . If you order food from outside they fine you 150 Euros!!! They were doing some maintenance on the building making a lot of noise - I could sleep! I called them twice they never stopped! Avoid this hotel!

Beautiful location by the River Maas with a nice pathway for walking. Warm and helpful welcome. Our bedroom and bathroom were both very clean and very roomy. We had a good view of the river and barges. Evening meal with plenty of choice and tasty breakfast.
