Debbie's Place, Rainbow Beach Retreat

My room/place was super clean and the wifi strong. It's close to a few restaurants and a small grocery store.

The signage doesn't have any lights so hard to find after dark.

Debbie's Place was exactly what we had hoped it would be. She provided all we needed and even added a few extras such as beach towels and bug spray to ensure we had everything we needed.

Excellent location, walking distance to most things. The rooms are very clean and well thought out. The room and the private porch was a place we wanted to hangout it was so nice. We will definitely stay there again next time.

Cute set up, nice with deck out front and a bit of a kitchen- microwave, fridge, toaster and coffee maker!! Friendly staff!!!!

We were surprised at the sound (conversation) carried into the unit from the reception area. Even with the front door closed.

The Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The shower had good pressure.

The room we feel, was not what we paid for. The bed seemed to be a small double, as opposed to the queen we thought we booked for. If it was a double, it was small... The room, we were under the impression, was supposed to be a Deluxe Queen room of 60SQM? Perhaps I got this wrong? Gee's it was very small... I think we were given the incorrect room from the beginning. That is, given the response of the person I handed our key back to. She pointed to another area behind reception, when I said," I'm giving our key back (#11)". Our room was supposed to be room 11. She seemed confused... We were however, in room #2. $243 per night, was very overpriced for the accommodation we had for 3 nights. Having a wardrobe of approximately 5Ft outside on the ground floor in the "Lean to" I.E. "Balcony" is not convenient at all. Not to mention the fact the door onto the "Balcony" "Lean to" was not secured at all. We had our jackets etc on the pegs out there, in the damp. (Of course it was raining) An ironing board took up the majority of the space, within the tiny wardrobe. In any case, clothes should be, at the very least, be able to be accessed within your room. There was absolutely no place to put our clothes in the room we were given. We literally lived out of our suitcases for 3 days. Two (what appeared to be) tiny backless deck chairs, were there for our suitcases...We were disappointed with our room. Yes it was clean, but that's to be expected for the price we paid per night. On a lighter note, the close proximity to the IGA and the fabulous Rainbow Beach Pizza & Grill were a bonus. The Fish and Chip shop in the same complex was also very good, as was the Surf Club. The Sports Club food was not good at all for us unfortunately. Perhaps we went on a bad night...

Wonderful place. Very charming. Had our own private porch to dine on. 1 min walk to grocery, pizza, fish and chips - super convenient. Very clean and modern. Gracious host.

Superb location, beautiful room, clean and spacious. Could not recommend Debbie's Place enough, it was perfect. Even had covered private off street parking.

Nothing to dislike, everything was perfect.

Such a comfortable room with thoughtful touches, we all had a great night sleep and enjoyed hanging out in the loungeroom space.

Well equipped. Even a Nespresso machine. Lovely towels and sheets. Spacious. Spotless. Shops nearby.

Debbie was so lovely, the rooms were clean and spacious. She also let us keep our car at her place whilst we were at Fraser. Great hospitality, would recommend to anyone staying in Rainbow.

We stayed at Debbie’s either side of our trip to K’Gari - the apartment was very clean and beautifully furnished and a perfect location for the town. Debbie was so friendly and accommodating we wished we had been staying longer. You can also get picked up for the tour at Debbie’s Place

Debbie has thought of absolutely everything! From the multiple hooks for your clothes in the bathroom, to 2 baggage support stands to the multiple charging stations throughout their accommodation and the abundance of beautiful Manchester and kitchen supplies. The shower out to the private garden was a surprise for a modest couple but it challenged our standards of risktaking!!!! We are so thankful to Debbie for making us feel so incredibly welcome in her gorgeous little town. We would absolutely stay with Debbie again each time we visit Rainbow Beach, which is a great launch point for a Fraser Island tour

Clean, spacious and comfortable, Debbie and colleagues were great and very helpful!

A beautiful 1 bed studio apartment which was very spacious and comfortable. The decor was very nice and the shower glass window that looked over luscious plants was a highlight. The hostess very friendly and helpful. The apartment was close to the beach and town.
