Tin Can Bay Motel

Large comfortable rooms with kitchenette.

Driveway gravel is loud. Can hear every car pulling in and out from room. Rooms not very soundproof. Can hear other guests that arrive late or leave early.

Richard the manager met me and told me all about the area. The room was clean and comfortable with a large TV, comfortable chair and decent size kitchen area. Shower was good power. Love the location and gardens are very pretty.

Nothing, I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel has recently been renovated and the pictures accurately reflect the property. The bed and amenities were very comfortable. The communication with the property prior to arrival was great and the front desk was friendly and efficient. It is located close to the walking path along the water.

We have a ute and the parking lot was very tight. Our parking spot was to be in front of our unit. We left to go for dinner and upon return, there were multiple utes in front of all the first rooms (including in front of ours) and a bunch of people were talking loudly and partying in front of their units next door. This went on until well past 11pm so we were very disappointed with the lack of respect for other guests and the fact that there apparently was not at least a 10am quiet policy. We acknowledge that the hotel cannot do much about rude guests but the fact that we couldn't park in our spot and were kept up late due to a party outside our window, it was an unfortunate experience. Overall, it would have been a comfortable place and we would've given it higher marks had our experience not been so bad.

Great one night stop to feed the dolphins. Motel was clean and comfortable and check-in and out was easy.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Tin Can Bay Motel. It exceeded our expectations and we wish that we could have stayed longer. Lots of nice little touches to make the room homely. Very clean. Comfortable bed. Large room. Highly recommend this place.

Really liked the property, a lot of little details that showed thought had been put into the room ie. Make-up remover, milk ready in the fridge. Staff were friendly and welcoming - would recommend!

Spacious room, clean, mattresses were quite comfortable. Very welcoming staff. Pool is of a good size. Great location for dolphins feeding and overall a great stay.

The room was large, clean & comfortable. Well appointed for a night’s stay. It was a little out of town but Tin Can Bay is a bit spread out. We caught the courtesy bus to dinner at the golf club which was handy.

Booking.com says 5 miles to Rainbow beach. Only has the Crow flies. More like 30 minute drive.

It was one of the nicest motels we have ever stayed in. Very comfortable, large rooms, decent shower and loo paper and a comfortable bed.

Extremely clean, everything we needed - tea/coffee with a little bottle of proper milk. Nice selection of biscuits. Extremely comfy bed. Nice touches and attention to detail. Good communication re access out of hours. I wish we’d had longer there.
