View and the restaurant.
Mold in bathroom, noisy pipes, thin walls, and not hot breakfast available. Bad Wi-Fi signal.
Nice location.Very friendly and helpful staff. Good food.
Location to Port Arthur: private key for two days entrance was outstanding. Meals terrific, atmosphere great, overlooking Port Arthur. Very special. Excellent Laundry available to wash our clothes. Great accommodation.
The location itself was pretty iconic, next to the most popular spot in the area. The staff were all very nice and approachable, the restaurant was fantastic and the food was yummy....
Restaurant looked great (views) but we didn't have time for breakfast unfortunately. So near to Historic Site you can walk. Comfortable rooms, late check in easily managed.
The location is second to none - the Motor Inn is on the Port Arthur Historic site, with direct access to the site for day time activities. Most staff were friendly - especially in reception. The restaurant was good and had a bar as well. The view out from the restaurant is directly across the Historic site.
Overall, the Motor Inn felt tired. Fresh paint and a spruce up across the board would be great - especially the gardens and breakfast area. Breakfast coffee machines need updating. The bushes immediately outside the restaurant windows need a good trim so guests can maximize their views. Smoking area was pretty much straight outside our room which wasn't nice to walk past.
Located right next to the convict prison, this was very nice accommodation with two beds in the room and a nice restaurant for dinner as well as a continental breakfast which was worth paying for. During dinner we saw the nightly wallaby migration outside with the convict ruins as a nice backdrop. Very comfortable and ideal when visiting Port Arthur.
The bathroom shower was a little tight, I didn't end up using it.
Great location close to the Port Arthur Historic Site, comfortable bed.
Our bathroom sink drain was partially blocked. This was reported to staff and we were thanked for that and later adised it had now been fixed.
Fabulous location.
The place is really run down. The bathroom fittings look like they haven't been changed since the 1970s and when we turned the sink on the insides came out; it wasn't repaired even when the management said they would. The shower dripped unless you turned the tap so tight that the next person would have to fit with it. There were no tissues in the tissue container. The tea and coffee offerings were cheap and nasty. Parking is extremely limited. the place has potential but currently it feels like they are trying to make as much money as they can with minimal investment.
We like the location as it is literally next to Port Arthur Historic Site; the restaurant provides delicious meals and the staff are efficient and friendly.
Everything was as expected but as per last time the parking is tight and difficult once large vehicles are parked next to their rooms.
The location was great. The staff were amazing!
The parking situation was a pain, having to park so far from the room.
Location next to the historical sight was a bonus. I would consider this property a budget accomodation. I got what I paid for, so I have no major complaints.
Great location, right near the Historic Site. Comfortable rooms and a great view on the balcony.
Struggled to get dinner anywhere as the onsite restaurant was booked out.
We recently stayed one night at the Port Arthur Motor Inn along Safety Cove Road. This is a basic, no frills motel with simple but sufficient rooms next to the Port Arthur Historic Site. There is parking, a bar and a restaurant on the premise. Our room was spacious enough, bed fairly comfortable, shower worked fine, as did the telly. Room included kettle, coffee & tea sachets, fridge, small table. Heating, lighting all worked just fine. Wifi didn't work at all during our stay. On the whole, would be fine to stay here for one night again in the future specifically taking advantage of its close proximity to the Port Arthur Historic Site. However, might look elsewhere if seeking multiple day stays in the area.
Location was excellent tight in the grounds of the Port Arthur Historical site. Once you have your ticket you can enter the site from the Motel. It was awesome. Grey meals and nice little bar as well. It was a great stay.
Location great, restaurant very good and reasonably priced.
Parking a bit tight but adequate. Dated rooms but the price compensated for this.
The meals in the restaurant are first class. The location and views are stunning. The room was very comfortable Very close to Port Arthur attractions
Parking can be a little tight.Bathroom drain was very slow
