Parramatta City Motel

Location, although difficult to access with divided road, coming from the south.

It was perfectly located for my work program, affordable and comfortable

Really like this motel. The beds are really comfy with rally perfect pillows and there are 2 pillows provided - this is really unusual & I love my pillows! Staff are really helpful & the location is great + there is parking !

Disappointing

I was annoyed to have to pay a deposit / bond of $250 on arrival after having already paid in full for the room. Even more annoyed when the deposit was not repaid to my account within a reasonable number of days. Had to contact the hotel to request the refund and was told I’d have to contact my bank to get them to do the refund. The hotel took about 3 weeks to resolve this.

Close to trains and buses

The mattress was dreadfully uncomfortable. Extremely hard. The pillows were awful and old. A $250 deposit for the room is ridiculous. I do not like being woken up at 7am by drilling in the wall in the next room.

Great location very friendly helpful staff.Clean rooms.Very outdated carpet stained and beds old and badly stained.Air con rattled and they was lots of bang through the night?

Very run down room. Mattress had an tear in the side & stains which have been there for a while. Only one set of cutlery so asked reception just needed another spoon, reply was housekeeping has gone home & even they have to bring their own to work & dismissed us. Ended up sharing spoon for two days although very minor issue it was attitude of staff.

Nice view and position, plumbing is a bit noisy, staff are good

The room was clean and tidy. It was like going back in time to another decade with the furniture.

The soft seats needed a steam clean.

Close to parramatta station

It was “dated” - wifi did not connect, no room service or restaurant. There was a dead cockroach in the room and the place looked “run down” - around the pool the thatched fencing was falling away and parts of the concrete around the carpark have broken away. I used the vending machine in the foyer and bought a chocolate, I unwrapped the chocolate it was old and stale!!!

Staff were friendly and fixed issues when asked.

$250 bond per room??

Presentation and appearance of the lobby/ reception area was of ordinary standard. Staff communication and care didnt exist after we questioned the room quality.When entering the room it appeared to be old and of very low standard. The 2 lounge chairs in the room were absolutely disgustingly dirt and had never been cleaned. We threw a blanked over the chairs to disguise the filth and the blanket had a burn in it. Carpet stained and filthy.Please be aware that we could have stayed in a pub with better service and quality rooms.We will not be returning to this accommodation, booked through Booking .com

Mould in the bathroom. Don't think the place had been cleaned properly since it was painted baby poop yellow in the 80's. Carpet worn through. Took a $250 key deposit and had the hid to say that it may take 10 days to be returned. Wouldn't recommend it

Nothing … just a bedbug everywhere

I went straight to hotel from airport around 11:30pm. I checked in with around $250 deposit . As soon as I opened room 336 its was soo sooo smelly… I opened the windows as soon as I get in and checked everywhere it was very dusty and I don’t know what was the smell but my body was itching all over . After I unpacked my baggage I was about to lay in bed and I saw something crawling in pillows , it was a big bedbug not just one .. bugs were inside the pillow , on top of the pillow crawling and also crawling in top sheet. I clicked picture and took a video as well . I had to checkout at night as a single girl I was scared and very very angry how can a $165 room be this worst . My first night of my holiday was ruined , I couldn’t sleep . I called my brother(friend) who was nearby at midnight and stayed in his house and slept at sofa . Such an unprofessional and unhygienic motel I have ever booked . Bedbugs and smelly rooms is such a serious thing which needs to be noted . I’ve mailed them the same night but haven’t got any email back. I want a refund that’s my money,they just scammed me .I hope you guys can do something about it. Thank you
