Burbury Hotel & Apartments

Loved everything about this hotel. Spacious, comfortable, good value for money and a great location in a quiet neighbourhood. The bed is so comfy and the blind is pitch black, good soundproof too. I had the best sleep. I would recommend it.

This was our second visit and agian this appartment was very well appointed with everything we needed and more.Mali was again a great help on reception.

Reception staff had excellent customer service skills. We were greeted with a smile and felt welcomed. All aspects of the booking were explained to us (eg activation of keys, facilities, parking, suggestions if we required help with Restaurants etc.)

Totally appreciated a separate lounge area to the bedroom and required a balcony or outdoor access due to my partner's claustrophobia. Easy access also appreciated due to limited walking and health issues. Truly hope you can cater for my next visit. I am about to make another 2 day booking.

Nothing at all. However I did want to help out staff with disposing of recyclable items, bottles and cans etc, however unsure of where to dispose of.

The soap container’s were empty and had to call reception to replace them, and a little far from the centre of town

Generously sized apartment for our family of 4, love that there's 2 bathrooms! The additional of an outdoor space was a bonus but we didn't get to make the most of it.Beds were comfortable (everyone felt rested in the morning) and with TV's in the bedrooms as well as lounge it meant we didnt have to watch the same thing.Complimentary coffee pods for coffee machine and T2 teas was a nice touch.

The kitchen utensils was a bit lean, our apartment didn't have a frying pan or a pair of scissors, only access to one big pot and small pot in terms of pots and pans.

I loved the location. We only stayed one night but Burberry was outstanding from start to finish. Great Reception, Great Big Room, Free Movies, Parking, and Free Breakfast Next-door which was 5 Star in taste and Service. All for a Very Reasonable Price. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

we stopped in Canberra on our way to Sydney. This hotel was comfortable and the staff, especially Moses at reception was very helpful.

My stay at the Burbury Hotel was truly impressive. The property is spotless and fresh, with reception staff who were genuinely delightful. Extending my checkout to fit around a race was handled effortlessly, which I really appreciated. The room itself was beautiful, well-equipped, and featured a comfortable bed with crisp, clean linen. Dining at Ostani, just across the road, was a highlight with delicious food at reasonable prices, quick service, and a great atmosphere. The location couldn’t be better, making it an ideal base in Canberra. I’ll definitely be returning here on future visits. Highly recommended, and thank you for a wonderful experience.

Reception not helpful - were not at the desk the few times we needed assistance. Car parking confusing. Cleanliness of apartments could be more thorough.

The bed was comfortable, though one side was a bit lower than the other, so you might slide over if you sleep in the middle. The hotel is in a lovely location—super quiet and dark at night—so you can really get a good rest. It’s a great spot for leisure and holidays.The staff were super friendly and helpful.

The breakfast situation was a bit confusing—it seems you need to go to another hotel for it. Also, the buffet costs $44 per person, which feels a little pricey.The hotel didn’t appear to have many amenities. Other hotels I’ve stayed at in Canberra offered facilities such as a pool, sauna, library, or meeting rooms. This might explain why it’s slightly cheaper than others, though it still feels a bit limited in functionality for a four-star hotel.The shower doesn’t have a door to keep the steam and warmth in, so it’s a bit hard to have a properly warm shower. The showerhead’s also quite small, and the water pressure’s pretty low.

As a 6th generation Australian, I recognise that one of our more unfortunate characteristics is - average service and being very poor at giving good, clear directions. We tend to assume that everyone knows the place (even if you've driven 3 hours to get there) and therefore you should not be concerned about not finding your way around. This is not meant as a strong criticism but more of an awareness of something we should be mindful of doing something about. Thank you.

Loved the location, Ostani restaurant across the road was lovely. Nice view from the room & balcony and lovely aspect with sun in the morning. The king bed was great and very comfy although the pillows were a little hard. Loved the size of the room and kitchenette.

The dishwasher drawer would not close properly and consequently beeped every few minutes.

Our unit was very well appointed, had a great large balcony, huge marble shower, two Tv's, dishwasher with tablets supplied, washer and dryer with washing powder and very comfy bed.AWESOME quality toiletries were provided.

Coffee machine did not work, but I used instant as only stayed 2 nights.
