The 4.5 star Pavilion On Northbourne features Canberra's largest indoor tropical garden atrium. There is also an outdoor swimming pool, fitness center and onsite bar and restaurant. Offering rooms with 32-inch flat-screen TV, it is only 5 minutes’ drive from the Australian War Memorial. Free WiFi is available as well as cable channels. Pavilion on Northbourne Canberra is only 10 minutes’ drive from Parliament House. Canberra Airport is a 15-minute drive away. Free on-site secure parking is also provided. Free local newspapers are available daily. Atrium Restaurant and Bar is open for buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner. You can share a quiet drink in the lounge area. Room service is also available 24/7. The quiet, air-conditioned rooms have a refrigerator and a tea and coffee maker. Each room has a work desk, and some rooms also have a kitchen. Guests can work out in the fitness center.

- Huge room. Huge shower - best we have had. Huge comfy bed. Lovely well equipped kitchen. Plentiful parking. Public areas well designed with floral and water displays Would stay again
- Close to city centre, comfortable, great staff and lots of greenery, shrubs and trees in hotel common areas
- Central location. Generous size rooms. Very clean. Effective curtains. Quiet. Lovely tropical gardens in the middle of the hotel, with lounges and coffee bar. Liked this a lot. Free parking
Cons -
- Aircon difficult to operate but it was cold so it heated up nicely Reception always busy. Check in hurried as people waiting. Been overcharged but despite telephoning and several emails this has not been rectified
- No microwave and no television in the bedroom
