Pros +
- The night before when I stayed their. Wasn't happy I was charged for an extra night due to my friend not leaving and using my card details to stay again
- The property was clean and the bed comfy.
- We had a very enjoyable two night stay. Bed was super comfy, room was great, good housekeeping and ample parking. The room service steak sandwich was definitely the highlight.
Cons -
- Paying for an extra night someone else used, plus the charges of breakfast and dinner charged to my account
- Booked and paid for 2 nights through booking.com to have the hotel charge me again. Still waiting for my $500 refund that I’ve had to chase multiple times almost 2 weeks after check out with no contact from the hotel to me.Hotel cleaner barged into the room after knocking and me asking them to wait as I was getting dressed and standing there naked. The pool is quite small for the size of the hotel. It was super hot so tried to use the pool a couple of times but there wasn’t enough space in or around the pool for the 30 or so people already up there.
- Staff need more training - none could answer questions (eg: Is rooftop bar open), orders “forgotten” (missed items). Also, supplies were low - 3 coffee capsules only in room and 2 were decaf, “special” wine and wines by the glass not available (although when I complained about the only white wine-by-the-glass being a $14 cheapie in the restaurants, I was offered a very acceptable alternative… but only after complaining), also $71 steak was mostly inedible and my expression of disappointment about this was totally ignored).

Comfy bed

Great location on the race track. Terrific bar and restaurant.
Open bathroom.
Everything was comfortable and clean and the staff were super friendly
A bit of a trek into central Sydney with trains taking about 1.5h, but that’s not the hotel’s fault!
Specious rooms, sparkling clean, stunning view and above all friendly staff. Absolutely recommend it
The pool was fabulous. Staff exceptional. Beds comfy.
We loved the ambience of being at the Track seeing the horses in training from the room was amazing . It was large and spacious inside the foyer and excellent presentation. Easy parking outside.
Room was clean and well equipped there’s a pillow menu which was good . Great views
The bathroom is open and a frosted toilet door facing the bed so if you don’t care for privacy when you do your business your ok otherwise the pool toilets on level 9 are a good option . Was shocked at the wedges paid 21$ pic there
It was nice and easy to access my work party just down stairs
Reception could have advised that the keycard was to be scanned for the elevator to move. It was a hot day, and we were placed in a room where we then later were told the aircon was broken. We asked reception and the lady that came to fix it looked at us like we were dumb coz it was showing heat? BUT IT JUST SWITCHED FROM COOL & FAN as we waited on her. Said she will turn it on from the desk but it was actually broken. We got moved to another room, which was nice but still the aircon was still not cooling the room til like 30minBut overall it was a nice location and the security kept me feeling safe.
Beautiful facilities, friendly staff and quiet considering the number of rooms and people at the hotel
Good facilities
Was for a birthday celebration - entered the room with a card addressed to someone else. Must have been a solo traveller as everyone was laid out for one. One bathrobe, one glass etc. Myself and my husband had specifically indicated it was a couples birthday prior to our stay.
Bed was really comfortable. Staff were great. Breakfast was excellent - good coffee.
No tea bags in the kitchenette - we had to ask for some from the restaurant.
Dinner was excellent.
The beds were too hard. I thought breakfast buffet was under welming for continental options. Not enough fresh fruit. I didn't like the lack of privacy in the bathroom.
Cleanliness. Good staff
No privacy door to toilet and shower.
Food was delicious however a little pricey. Rooms were spacious and clean.
Access in and out of the dining area to the ouside smokers space, door was always closing and getting staff attention from outside was frustrating. Last drinks were called and the bar man refused to make a cocktail for final drink.
Excellent venue. Enjoy the pool especially in the morning. I love watching the horses train. The meal for the function was excellent.
The hot water in the room was not hot. I like a warm shower and hot water when I have a shave. I believe the buffet should be $30 not $40.
The room was comfortable and large.
The shower barely worked.
I ended up paying for a difference to their Executive Suite worth the upgrade! So glad I booked it the day before my wedding and stayed 3 nights all up. The breakfast was amazing!
