- Location. Bathroom. Bed. Storage.
- Convenient
- Staff overall well presented and pleasant. The breakfast was great service was excellent.
Cons -
- High cost to eat on site. No small convenience items on site
- Lifts were playing up which was difficult. Understand they were attempting to fix but was not resolved in the 5 days we were there. Otherwise facilities were good.
- It was expensive when compared with other hotel prices as it didn’t have a view or much amenities. i.e. pool was very small and the gym too. I don’t feel it is value for money.

Breakfast arrangement was very good, staff was very good in their service. Location is covered by the city buildings and darling harbor is not visible to the rooms. But could be a good option for people who comes to visit the city for business.

Breakfast was nice there is a verity
Rooms could be a bit bigger and bathroom a bit squashy but nice
We loved the location, it was close to everything we wanted to do. The bed was incredibly comfortable, we slept very soundly. We stayed at the Crowne Plaza because of the wheelchair accessible bathroom and it was probably one of the best disabled bathrooms we have ever used. The shower is great for the disabled person as well as the able-bodied. It had a shower curtain!!! The shelving unit for towels/tissues etc was within reach. The Bar downstairs was very inviting and we enjoyed the cocktails a couple of times.
I did think it was too expensive, particularly when we booked for 3 nights and the room is not cleaned whilst you stay there. Disabled people require more linen. The bed should be changed every day and more towels and floor mats supplied. Also the ‘complimentary’ water should be supplied each day. The hanging space is too short. The teapot leaked - everywhere. I believe if the room is not cleaned and all linen is not replaced each day we should be charged a lot less.
Location was excellent! It was a quiet room no road noise or people noise which was awesome considering it was a long weekend.
The staff were very helpful. The bedroom was spacious and clean. We ate dinner in the Hotel restaurant on our first evening and, although the menu was quite small, the food was very good. I especially liked the roof top swimming pool which I used before breakfast both mornings.
I had asked if we could have a bedroom with a bath. I was informed that only suites had baths.
Room was clean and beds were very comfortable breakfast was beautiful and the swimming was great with a great view
We paid for a 3 adults, we were given 1 king size bed, for 3 adults. Then paid an additional $60 for a roller bed. Room was nice and clean, however, very tight and small for 3 adults. Had to request for extra towel, cup and glass.
Repaid for 3 adults, room could only accommodate 2 ppl
The breakfast was amazing, rooms clean and spacious. Security around the hotel was good.
Couldn't understand the concierge and very difficult to understand what you are being charged for.
The hotel and rooms were very clean and modern. The rooms were stocked with coffee, tea, lotions etc and the pillow spray was a nice addition! The staff were extremally helpful and location is great to get to Darling Harbour / CBD and shopping spots.
Breakfast, in room ammenities, size of the room, location, this place was great in a lot of ways.
Nothing comes to mind
The staff were exceptional. Friendly, professional and helpful. The room was spacious, clean and with lovely little touches like pillow spray.
the spray, pool and facility
noisy around
Beautiful room, friendly and helpful staff - breakfast and restaurant was amazing. It was nice to take a dip in the pool
Poor, inaccurate instructions to access car park basement. Entry is via Little Druitt St, which IS NOT stipulated in their pre booked car park email confirmation. We stopped and blocked peak hour traffic just to call the staff because we couldn't find the car park entrance door. The hotel's dirdct contact number isnt advertised, so when we spoke to the customer service operator on the Crown Plaza Hotels Group hotline, he laughed at our issue and told me to hold, not announcing he would put us through to the hotel directly. Absolute sh@*head.Worse part is the absolute rip off that was this hotel. There was no mini bar. For $400 plus a night, you'd expect there to be mini bar items on hand (even if for an extra charge). But you have to go the extra step to call up reception to order what you want. This is a 1st world problem, but again, for $400 a night. The hotel room fittings, size and luxury level (or lack thereof) suited a $300 per night hotel, not the $400+ a night we paid for. In an attempt to "go green", the slippers provided were coarse, uncomfortable, and will itch your feet. Again, saying this within the context of a $400 a night hotel. The full length mirror is horrible. It's an attempt to up the luxury by being one of those dark tinted mirrors. But it has completely backfired because you can't see your proper reflection colour wise, meaning you can't do your make up or get an accurate reflection. It was just horribly dark.Their lifts are a massive issue. They play up and malfunction, we couldn't get back to our cark park level and had to call reception to let us down. Even the staff admitted the lifta have a mind of their own. So inconvenient. The 'almost infinity edge' pool would have been awesome to use has it not been raining, but that's not the hotel's fault.
Cleverly furnished, modern well appointed rooms with an air of luxury. Large soft comfortable beds. Our room was very quiet as the windows did not face the street. Location. It's not really Darling Harbour. It's Hunter St (10 min walk to Darling Harbour, Town Hall, Chinatown). The staff were friendly and pleasant to talk to.
It's a little pricey.
The breakfast was good. All options i could have had
I booked a standard room with 2 single beds for my sister and myself. My sister has limited funds as a pensioner. They said that this configuration was unable and we had to upgrade to 2 x queen beds at and extra cost of $180 for the visit. I was very unimpressed with this. If we were able to book this why was it unavailable. Not very happy.May reconsider staying here in future
The beds are very comfortable and the shower is good. It’s a really handy location with plenty to do and accessible to the train station and ferries. Lots of good restaurants nearby. The room service staff member was lovely. Decent bathroom and coffee making facilities. Lavender mist for the pillows was a sweet touch.
The carpet could do with replacing. It didn’t smell great and was stained. We asked for a twin room and got a queen (didn’t matter this time). Trays left outside from previous guests for several hours. The basin and soap were too high for a child to reach, I had to lift my six year old up each time.
