Pros +
- The location is very good and staff were very nice,
- Quiet location and intimate set up.
- Good location if you are on foot, tram stop nearby, two stops from main station. Easy check-in. Comfortable bed. Sink in the room.
Cons -
- The Bed wasn’t that comfortable and made noises by every movement, the water didn’t drain in the shower so i had to end up my shower in 3 minutes before it floods. The toilet seat doesn’t stay up, you have to hold it. Every time you open the water to wash your hands in the sink you hear noises ( water refill noises) from the toilet. Very poor Internet, the wifi disconnects automatically, and when it’s connected it’s too slow or doesn’t work at all. It doesn’t have a Lift you have to take the stairs. The towels had old spots on them ( the weren’t clean, maybe washed but not clean). Maybe for the low price and good location you don’t find a better deal, but it surprises me the it has a 8.4 on your website. I booked it after i saw the rating on your website and the location.
- The breakfast could have been a little more sumptuous. It was rather basic. But the staff was very helpful!
- Despite it was cheapest hotel in Braunschweig those dates - 50€ for single room with shared shower and outdated design is too expensive comparing to other hotels in Germany off season. A bit of smell of cigarettes in the room.

Easy check-in getting the key with a code sent by message, great location close to the city centre, electric car charger (even fast charger) within 100m, kitchen with all needed equipment, great water pressure in shower.
The staff was really friendly and helpful
The hotel is really old and old fashioned. The room was smelly (I had the window open for an hour), no heating....The breakfast was super expensive 9€ for some oats and a boiled egg....I wouldn't recommend this place.
Everything was great, location, price, nice room.
Wifi doesn’t work, or is very slow during peak hours of use. Other times, it’s fine.
excellent as usual, friendly staff, I also got a room upgrade for free, excellent location, fair price
nothing really
Good location but more than anything the lady who ran it was wonderful. Kind, thoughtful and efficient in every way.
Very friendly personnel, good breakfast
Some improvements in part of the hotel would be good. We were told this will be done step by step.
Good location and spacious beds.
We found cockroaches in the toilet.
The apartment was clean and roomy. Breakfast was good value - it was more limited in choice than other places we have stayed at but was not so expensive and was quite adequate. Staff were friendly and helpful on arrival, during breakfast and on departure (we know no more than a few words of German).
Details regarding access and parking were sent by email in the morning of the day of arrival, which was awkward for us as we were traveling all day and didn't know until after we in the hotel. But to be fair, the booking was made late the previous day - about 21:45 continental European time.
Friendly, helpful staff, location in centre. Pet friendly. Parking close by. The apartment has a small balcony and shade. Kitchen is quite well-equipped, so self-catering is possible. Good for a short stopover with time to look at the local sights,
Maybe add some coffee filters.
Basic room but gets the job done. Clean bathrooms. Breakfast is simple but has all of the typical continental fare you would expect (they even had soft boiled eggs per person, which was definitely a bonus)
The decor has seen better days but everything is functional and clean.
We had an appartment for 3 with kitchen. Very well located close to the old part of the town. Perfect budget. Well equipped for short or longer visit
Very nice family run hotel in the city centre, with the option to book a parking space about 200m away. It was by far the cheapest in the area, for a private room, and for that I have absolutely no complaint. Room on top floor (no lift) was small but quiet. Bed moderately comfortable, but okay, shared bathroom and toilet. No airconditioner but it wasn't that hot. It was fine for a work trip for a night. Very friendly staff.
Besides enjoying the facilities and being in a good location, I must say that the staff was super friendly and helpful! I highly recommend!
We stayed in the older apartments in the back. For family of 5, there was a separate bedroom and 3 beds in the main room. Spacious rooms and a small, adequate kitchen area. Just an older style but clean, quiet area. Short walk to the downtown area and very close to the Ritzi building.
Everything was fine.
This charming apartment in the old town was absolutely lovely. It was airy, roomy, comfortable, and spotless. The owner was very helpful with suggestions and directions. She was very thoughtful in giving us a room that accommodated my mother. Everything we wanted to see was in easy walking distance. We would definitely return here on another visit.
Everything was lovely.
Comfortable apartments with everything you need for short stay, located in the center of the old town. Good breakfast. The hostess was very kind, gave us a map of the city and told us about the sights and interesting places in Braunschweig. I recommend this hotel.
A quiet place not far away from the centre. Clean room with enough place to work on laptop in the evening and with steady wifi. Likeable staff. Fresh and tasty breakfast. For me it was prefect choice for a short business trip.
