- Pool, nice, big rooms
- It was clean and good location.
Cons -
- Room temperature, couldn't cool down the room despite changing dial to coldest setting, apart from that it was a lovely stay
- Load street, windows didn’t really avoid the noise
- It was not elderly friendly as only staircase to the public toilets. And walking quite far to the entry.Tried to reserve a car park and was told no reservation possible. Upon arrival almost all car parking spaces had a hand written yellow reservation sign upon the wall …

beautiful room, large, super comfty bed, great breakfast, great location ?
The location was in the town center, so it was very convenient. The breakfast really tasty. The pool facilities were very nice.
The water in the swimming pool was a bit cold. The pillows were a bit flat.
We liked the place not far from the center. Great breakfast, friendly staff. Very nice wellness facilities: swimming pool, dry and steam sauna. Steam sauna was also nicely warm. It was a perfect relaxing stay after a day driving.
I personally prefer harder pillows:)) Lucky there were 2 (one bigger and one smaller) so I could use both and sleep better.
The staff were so helpful and kind. The hotel is in centre of the village with excellent parking facilities. Everything is in walking distance. There's a lovely pool and gowns in your room. Take a towel. The room was immaculate with a power shower. Breakfast is amazing. Really enjoyed my stay. Thank you!
The pillows could have been better. They were either too big or too soft.
I really enjoyed the room though the bathrooms definitely need a makeover. The spa is nice but it was way to heated inside so we didn’t stay long.
The bathrooms need a touch-up it still looks like from the 70s.
Nice hotel but needs to improve it's shower safety!
I had a nasty incident with the shower, which is basically a raised cubicle in the bathroom. After starting the shower and letting the water warm up I stepped into the cubicle and it was like stepping straight onto a smooth buttered surface. My feet went straight out from under me and I fell backwards with my back striking the raised edge of the cubicle, leaving a massive bruise and extreme discomfort in my back for days afterwards, especially during the 1000 mile motorcycle journey I had to make the following two days. I spoke to the hotel reception directly afterwards and showed them the large bruise on the back, after which I received a lot of apologies and a 10% discount on my bill the next morning, however I feel that was not really appropriate to what I experienced through the hotel's negligence in not ensuring a safe floor surface in the shower for a guest to step up onto. I am still experiencing pain over a week later but am nonetheless grateful that I didn't break anything as I so easily could have. I am only writing this to ensure that the hotel takes this matter seriously and actually does something to prevent this happening to future guests, as it could be a lot worse for an elderly or infirm person. At the very least an inexpensive anti-slip shower floor mat or board could prevent a serious accident from occuring.
Staff were friendly and helpful but room balcony not cleared of previous guests party remnants so had to call down to get housekeeping back. Extra pillows had to be requested as what looked like plump feather pillows collapsed to the thickness of a biscuit ! Breakfast was excellent. Excellent access to town centre.
Major reconstruction of town centre going on so work noise started at 6.30 am with machinery being offloaded then started up at 7am. Out of control of hotel but ear plugs & being told about it before or during check in would of been nice, instead of getting a rude awakening. Bathrooms really need refurbishment especially as the sink was cracked! Hotel is a maze of corridors & lifts/ stairs but got used to tunnel system linking the various buildings eventually!
excellent hotel, friendly staff, clean, comfortable, located near the of centre Huxori, very motorbike friendly even allowed to park on the pavement outside the Hotel, plus underground car park at 7 euros a night if required.
Slightly unusual layout to access the Villa Huxori from the main hotel reception, down a lift to the basement along a corridor to another lift and upto your room. Not a issue once you got used to it.
staff were polite and efficient . room was comfortable and very clean . I particularly liked the soap supplied . The breakfast was 101% exceptional quality and lots of choice including scrambled eggs and bacon . Probably the nicest scrambled egg I’ve ever tasted .
the room had to be accessed via another hotel which involved going down in a lift then walking through a tunnel under the hotel and another lift up to my room
the room organization was perfect, the furniture were high quality, the room was perfectly clean, no hidden molding anywherethe bathroom was fantasticthe room service and the stuff were really friendlythe swimming facility was also big and cleanthe breakfast was also complete and delicious
the parking area could have been a bit bigger
Because of construction in Hoexter, it was hard to find Huxori. Breakfast was excellent. To cross from one hotel to Huxori, we had to use an underground tunnel. A bit confusing the first time, but OK thereafter.Location was in downtown Hoexter, near a Catholic church and shopping.Friendly staff gave us late checkout, despite a need for the room.Price was right.
The underground tunnel No staff on duty overnight.
Everything to like about it. Absolutely fantastic. modern, clean, comfortable and done up with class.
Central location, friendly service, tasteful room, quiet street, good wifi (and the parking issue was solved too).
Villa Huxori is not a small hotel as I imagined, but part of a large hotel complex (you actually check in at Hotel Niedersachsen), with the usual issues at large hotels (limited parking, crowd at breakfast, queue at check-out etc.). The walls of my room were so thin that I could hear the guest next door putting down the toilet seat, moving the clothes hangers, etc. The bed and the pillows were too soft for me.
Nicely decorated and modern room, complimentary bottle of water, large TV with Internet (Netflix (private log in required), German Mediatheken available), comfortable beds, good breakfast with a wide choice of food, friendly service at the reception and at breakfast, ideal parking facilities for bikes, very close to town centre.
Breakfast room quite crowded (between 8 and 9 am), bathroom not at same modern standard as rest of the room (80's biege) but still clean and OK, room not very quiet due to location near to stairs and building site outside (not hotels fault). Sadly the restaurant was booked out - it would have been nice to have been told when checking in.
The breakfast!
No air conditioning in the room with only one opening window.
Everything, but didn’t used the pool
