The accommodation can accommodate 3 persons. The room was spacious. Receptionist was polite and nice enough to let us check in 3 hours earlier than the set time (3pm). The unit and its bathroom were clean. Breakfast is extra and cook to order. Unlimited upon request. Great coffee. Small size with varieties. Nice breakfast room, and peaceful atmosphere.

we stayed in the duplex with A/C unit on the first level. the lower level has a king bed; the second level has 2 twin beds. windows can be opened on second level and very spacious. There was a portable A/C unit on the second level, however, this portable A/C unit could not be readjusted and was fixed at 25C/77F degrees for cooling. It was a warm day, and the second level stayed warmer than the first level. This hotel has a lift but there are few stair steps to our assigned room which we had to climb with our luggage.

Friendly staff going out of their way to deal with language differences and to provide a safe place to lock up our bicycles (we were doing a hotel to hotel trip planned ourselves). Beautiful rooms. Very good meals.

We loved everything!! It was a dream...the best Hotel ever...I hardly ever stay in hotels..1% of my holidays...but this Hotel was nothing like typical hotels ..I never stay in Hotels in the USA and never willHotel Vermeer was outstanding superb in every way!! Best sweetest staff!!

Location perfect, staff perfect, the suite very beautiful.

The hotel is set in an old building that still boasts most of the interior, but made comfortable and very atmospheric. It’s in a great location, opposite the large church, and all the little streets are in walking distance. Parking was not too difficult in the area. Staffs were very helpful and friendly. Beds were very comfortable (only one pillow though) and so was the bathroom with bath and shower. There’s a restaurant that gets good reviews and a breakfast service - we didn’t use either of them so can’t review those.

Looking for modern design is not here for sure. If you enjoy Antique and classic design this hotel is your first option.

If you do not like a room under the roof. You may not like it.

Great location, beautiful hotel.

The staff took very long to come to the front desk at check-in. When he turned up at last, he reeked of cigarette smoke. He saw me when I arrived, asked for me to wait a bit, I waited quite a while and then he turned up smelling of cigarette smoke.

Beautiful hotel and parking available. Staff were very helpful. Near everything that we needed. We stayed in #5 room.

It's a beautiful old townhouse on a lovely square dominated by the church, small, freindly bars, restaurants and a gelato cafe. The town is equally delightful and a short walk. The hotel and staff were lovely. The served breakfast was fresh, with lovely ingredients. Pity it was only a stopover stay, would love to try the restaurant. Very convenient if visiting Thermen Bussloo and don't want to stay at the Thermen.

Perfect location in the city center, near all the restaurants and shops. The hotel is very characteristic and the room very comfortable. We asked for 2 beds as we were two friends traveling which was already arranged before we arrived.What really made it for us was the staff, everyone was genuinely friendly from check-in to the restaurant. We were welcomed with a complimentary glass of cava which they kindly replaced to 0% alcohol as I am pregnant. The breakfast was served at the table and although simple it was just perfect and we really enjoyed it. Couldn’t fault this hotel if I tried and we’d recommend it to everyone for a quick stay in Deventer!

Fantastic staff, very friendly and helpful, who made us feel very welcome. Very nice building in a great location. Our room was large, with a super balcony / roof terrace.

Well located in the town centre a few minutes walk from the main square.Very smart.

Bike parking wasn’t good. We were offered to put our bikes in the rear courtyard, but only when the last guests had finished eating, which was too late for us. The only option was to lock them to the rack at the front of the hotel (though this was at least covered by a security camera). Breakfast was nice, but it wasn’t buffet style, so to get more coffee you had to wait for a staff member and they seemed to be busy elsewhere.

Breakfast was excellent. All staff were charming and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble - I couldn't get Netflix to work initially an a member of staff came to the room twice to sort things out successfully.

Nothing I didn't like though it would have been nice to have a bar to sit at though there are plenty within a few mins walk from the hotel to which we were signposted by the hotel staff.

It was very clean! Immaculate actually. Beautiful property and great history. Staff were welcoming and friendly! Lovely hotel!
